Can't happen before October. http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?41820-Pressburg-Event-When-should-it-occur That's not the problem. It's not happening ANYTIME. I'm well past October. I do appreciate that point though....as I'm trying to make sure I'm not missing a variable/requirement. ...and...

Pressburg? Not once yet.

Guys....seriously.....I've played from Jan 05 and from Aug 05. Probably 3-4 times each. I have yet to get the event to fire. I send the decree as France and nothing ever happens in return. I am meeting all the requirements (as far as I know). NM, control of Wien, troops in Austria..... So I ask, how...

Just a hunch, but new players (such as I) really don't know what the heck all the posted script means. What is needed is a "how to implement the Treaty of Pressburg" post. For example, what I can tell: Austria NM must be below 75 France needs to have 75 units (elements?) in Austria Austria must not ...

Pressburg does it but Tilsit only gives you money and vps. Generally speaking, peace treaties (in the diplomatic ledger) should include WS to emulate arsenal pillaging in a peace treaty, but ensure return of captured units when peace is signed so as to not cripple a country by depriving him of his ...

... This is ridiculous. I don't want to be rude but what on earth did the beta testers do ??? The PRessburg / Tilsit sequences are the vary basis of the game, they take place in the first 15% of the game, end to see them botched to such extent is mind boggling... units teleported left and right, un...

Remember folks -- Napoleon HATED England. The terms would have to be harsh. If we think about what he did to Austria and Prussia following their defeats.....he did leave the Monarch in place, but took as much territory as possible. He severely limited the size of the Prussian Army. He was softer on ...

Gents: Yes, now that I have played some more, I do notice the scripts handle much of this.

I have not scripted for your games, but would be interested in learning. Is there a tutorial you have on the site (I will go looking now!).

Wonderful game -- very much appreciate your efforts!

If you are at war with too many nations, some get pushed off. I think you just need to allow more space in that box.

Ownership of Allies' provinces during war

So as France I am holding Bavarian territory (ally) and Wurrtemburg territory (neutral) and am at war with Austria. In both cases I guess Austria had occupied those provinces. So how do I give them back to those nations? Does the war need to end and then all territory goes back to original owner (un...

# of Men in a stack

Very excited and pleased about the game. AGEOD is my fav developer -- keep up the good work! The feature from previous games where you can show the manpower in a stack....I cannot remember the keystroke! I did not see a reference to it in the manual. Can someone be so kind as to rekindle my memory? ...

Greetings all! Old timer here who just tried to restart playing this wonderful game. Problem is, I don't have the setup/install file anymore.....that was like 2 computers ago. I moved my install via hard drive, but it's producing lots of winter texture CTDs. I tried changing texture and memory usage...

I think you are conjuring up a negative connation for the word Killer. I am not sure, but seems like a lot of people around here don't like big stacks. Both of those stacks are smaller than Howe's army at NY in 1777.

The second one is hardly "killer at all."

Yeah, I would not want my Continentals running into them -- but I'd expect forces of that size.

Apologies, Fort Question

Searched all over -- with latest patch, to build a fort I need 4 batteries, 2 wagons. Do the batteries have to be a certain size (not light)?

City size matter?

Can't build a fort in new orleans, but I'm using 6lb guns......confirm for me?

Thanks!

How is this game coming along? Can we get an update? I for one am looking forward to an excellent game on this era. One thing that was dismal in Vicky was the naval sector. Here are some ideas: 1. Very good ideas all. As an Eu III player, Vicky player, player of all AGEOD games, and naval enthusiast, I wholly concur with these comments. :coeurs: Coaling was critical, but you did not need a friendly port to coal. It's called "gunboat diplomacy" for a reason. Go AGEOD! Oh, name of game is GREAT!
