Ok - thanks for the information, fellows. I really can't understand why it was done this way, as other Ageod products have a simple, user-friendly replay function. Any chance this will be fixed more in a future patch?

Currently, the non-hosting player in PBEM games can only find out what happened in a turn by going through the messages - there is "replay" of the previous turn for him/her. Can this be addressed in a patch? It is a major impediment to PBEM, and since there is no live play on the internet, the game ...

I too was quite disappointed to learn that only the host can watch the playing out of the turn. To me it seems that the host gets all the fun, while the other guy gets to figure out what happened by clicking through a pile of messages, attempting to figure out the moves behind each message. Not fun....

Is the manual correct about how PBEM should work - in terms of the trn and ord files? Also, the manual mentions a zip utility included in the game, which I can't find anywhere.
