Yes, if they're considering remaking their old titles with the new engine, RUS is certainly the one I'd most want, along with the Thirty Years War game.
The Roman games would also be highly desirable.
However, in the end, I'd probably repurchase all of them were they reworked with the new engine.
I was always quite pleased with the map art in AGEOD games. Nevertheless, as a change of pace, I really enjoy the map for ECW. For some reason, it seems to fit the topic excellently. My congratulations to the artist!
If you mean the Battle Planner, you have to go to the "Options" menu from the Main menu, then, under the "Game" tab turn on the Battle Planner. Had me confused for a bit too.
Changing that entry from "10" to "100" made a major difference. The game still is somewhat jerky compared to other AGEOD games, and rarely does a single mouse click register--it takes two or more clicks to get the interface to respond. But it's vastly better than it was. I hope t...
I'm not impatient. I understand that a just-released game can have undiscovered bugs. I simply wanted to let you know that, for me, the current problem renders the game unplayable. I imagine that you folks will be able to fix it--as I said, I do not have this problem with any other AGEOD game, so it...
Hi Folks, I got the game and installed the patch, but the game is so slow that it's basically unplayable. Zooming in and out takes forever, cycling thru the stacks is like trying to run in molasses. Even trying to return to the main menu is a chore. I end up using Ctrl-Alt-Del to get to the task man...
Yes, Dominions does have a good approach, giving the player the chance to issue some pre-battle instructions, then having the battle play out automatically. Of course, the new system in this game, with the player choosing a deployment and a battle plan is similar, and also seems to give the player s...
Excellent point. I've felt this way for a long time. In fact, even in games which do combine a strategic/operational layer with playable battles, I always let the AI run the battles. I do this for exactly the reasons you cite. Generally, a decent human can always run rings around a tactical AI after...
I think it's an excellent game. Civil War II has the benefit of being older and, therefore, having received more post-release attention, but all AGEOD games [as well as most others] go thru this process. Thirty Years War is a strong title, and will only improve as remaining issues are addressed. I'm...
I finally did get the manually downloaded TYW patch from this page to work, but the WoN patch won't run--even when I paste the patch inside the WoN folder and try to run it from there [Thanks, jack54, for the suggestion, but I had tried that already. I too would have thought that would work.] Thanks...
I have a problem with patches for two AGEOD games: Thirty Years War, and Wars of Napoleon. I try to keep my "C" drive from getting overloaded, so I install programs to my "D" drive. All of my AGEOD games are on that drive. AJE, CWII, PoN, RUS, and RoP all update perfectly. However, TTY and WoN won't...
I don't install things to my C drive, preferring to leave as much free space as possible for the OS. However, when I try to run the auto-updater for WoN, it cannot find the game and will not run. So, I downloaded the patch from here, but, when I ran it, it also refused to run, presenting a message t...

That's too bad! I'd really like to get this game running again. By the bye, for anyone who's interested, the demo runs fine on Widows 10, so I assume the full game would also be fine.
I also bought Montjoie from AGEOD. I still have my activation code, and a download from AGEOD of the demo. I tried to install it, but there's no place for entering the code to unlock the full game. I think I've done this on previous computers. My nephews are getting old enough to play games, and I t...
There are leader abilities which lessen supply requirements. Is it possible to make this ability available to the AI side as a whole, thereby relieving their supply difficulties?
Yes, when you click on the middle icon, you will see cards, e.g., "Dip on Brand." Choose a card and drag-and-drop it onto the Diplomatic box. They affect the attitude of of the power toward you, altho how and to what degree is somewhat a mystery.
Click on the middle of the three icons in the upper-left corner--the one that looks like a couple of playing cards. The Decision options will appear along the bottom of the screen, and are scrollable sideways.
I think modifying the criteria for Swedish entry sounds like an excellent idea. As others have mentioned, the Imperialists can delay Swedish entry by refraining from conquering Denmark, allowing the Imperialists free rein on the continent, while Sweden sits impotent in Stockholm. It must be possible...
I'm not sure, but I may be having a problem with War Supplies. I'm playing the Danish scenario, as the Danes, and I rarely have any War Supplies. I thought it was intentional. However, I've been noticing that, whenever I receive a message that someone has given me War Supplies, the display at the to...
