Is there a way to merge elements that are within a brigade? I have some really beat up Union brigades with many of the infantry regiments (elements) at less than 100 men each. I'd like to combine these to free up space for additional units.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

I agree - it would be nice to know how many they have of ours and we have of theirs when making that decision....

The AI does tend to be a little gun shy, but I've been surprised a few times by its agressiveness. Playing as the Union, I was besieging Richmond in spring 1863 and Lee rolled up out of Petersburg with an enormous army and essentially wiped out two of my Corps. I was ticked and delighted at the same...

Does installing 1.06d essentially wipe out the leader mod if you had it installed?

True enough about the pontoons, but where Burnside failed was in trying to continue with his plan even though the element of surprise was long gone. A better general would have adjusted the plan and not gone ahead with a suicidal frontal assault on a nearly impregnable position.

Hancock:

I'd like to volunteer my services to help with the randomization mod. Is there a list of the promotable generals in question so that I might start researching them?

Thanks!

I had the frist R. Semmes unit sitting in the Atlantic blockade box when the second Semmes event occurred. When the Semmes #2 with the Alabama appeared in the Atlantic transport block, I got the following error message (though game continued to function afterwards): "RemoveCuSubUnit Violoation [fren...

I feel the need to pile on here... I can only echo the thoughts of the previous posters as I too have been waiting for decades for a strategic simulation of the Civil War that was worth playing. Many have tried, but this game is a stunning achievement. My hat is off to the entire team and I sincrere...

I lost a corps of units as well. They were there on one turn, in supply, no enemies but a few reb cavalry running around. The next turn I went to look for this unit to move them and all that was left in the stack were 2 generals with no units. I checked and re-checked the log, but there was no comba...

I figured it out - I hadn't invested in any river transport and my rail stock was crappy too so supply just wasn't moving. I invested heavily in river and rail and it seemed to clear right up.

Gosh I love this game.

Issue with Carroll, IL region

I've noticed my (Union) cavalry units not getting supply while they are sitting in the Carroll, IL region. The supply map filter shows it to be a green region for suppy plus there are no broken rail lines or enemy controlled provinces north of the area, PLUS the Springfield city is just 2 regions aw...
