Do you have a screenshot of the battle that happened before Lyon's injury? I too pondered on this issue. i think if you have the general attached to the brigade and the brigade is crushed then I think that the general would fall as well and not recover. This is what happened to Lyon early in the war...

As far as I know, this is how HQ naming works. Regardless of what the unit is currently called, it takes its name from a list of names based primarily on geographic region, then priority in the list (i.e., if you have two armies based in one region, the first one in the list is organized first). Fo...

Wait a minute didn't the army that was with pierre get transferred to Joseph Johnston then to Lee? well history wise, maybe you should try that first by transferring the HQ to JJ then to Lee. For example when I play the union side I don't get army of the Potomac until I associate with George. So may...

Where can I find the weather mod on this site? Is there good instruction on how to install it (like the Leader Mod)? Can it be installed on a current ongoing campaign or must you start a new campaign? I wish we had a central location for all the Mods to make them easier to find. Thanks. try this: h...

structure mod just like it would be in the AACW file system

If you structure your mod to be in sequence with the file structure of the game then when you unzip it to the starting dir it should automate the copy and pasting.

I don't have my example with me right now but I could show you if you copy the text from the readme file.

Negley has a new alias

I just made Negley a division leader in the place of Clarksville, TN aka Montgomery county on the map. His new name is Col E Ness.

Note: This is also the place where the game moved T. Crittendon to the NC bermuda triangle. Think this spot on the map is haunted. :tournepas :tournepas :tournepas

Dakota Wars of 1862

Yes, the event script engine allows that. This is done for example when the Sam Houston event triggers (Dallas becomes a VP city for 5 turns) or in the Great Sioux Uprising event (VP loss for not controlling Great Plains) this is probably debatable but would one consider Dakota Wars of 1862 part of...

also does your AI make divisions even though your limited until Oct 61. Reason I am asking is that your McDowell battle has an orange drum and PGT has a blue one which makes me wonder if he has division or all his brigades have an attached leader. Also have you ever noticed when playing that you can...

losing corp status when a corp gets on a boat

When you put a corps on a boat why is the corps symbol lost. I made Butler a corp under little mac then put him on a boat and he lost his corp status when I disembarked on an expedition.

CSA AI not using rail and not investing in Transports

Hello, I was playing with my game as the union side. I have the AI at normal with aggressiveness at normal and AI Detect bonus of normal.
