But the capital is moved to Richmond, not that very turn but for sure later (dont remember when exactly). Try wait a few turns and take a look again. EDIT: I checked with one of my CSA games which is in late 1861 and Richmond is the capital now. I think what Sean E meant was that currently it is mo...

OK, not a missing region link issue, but region-oriented: Pleasant, TX does not have an icon for control (rebel or union flag). I have searched the region file and can't find what parameter affects this placement. I think it's the presence of the harbor in Pleasant, TX that suppresses the display o...

Were some of the ships transports? I seem to recall they wouldn't count for blockade purposes.

Actually this is a spelling error. 161 should be Wythe . Thanks, yeah the map correctly shows the town Wytheville so it should be "165Wythe, VA". I had a look at the other Whyte, VA (just west of Lynchburg). The town there is Liberty (it became Bedford City in 1890). I couldn't find anything to sup...

My concern with the Butler/Meridian link is that I don't see how the engine would know that there's a river there (it's just on the map, and there's no region representing minor rivers) unless the link is a jump link. That means the combat factors for crossing a minor river would not be applied - im...

Yes, this is indeed the case. The problem is that I dont know where the text files are that provide the in game description of the events, and cant seem to find them. If someone can point me in the right direction, I will enter the appropriate text for each event. Until then, we are stuck with the ...

Excellent, Jabberwock. I think there are still some problems around Papin, MO though... Region 933: one-way jump link to region 1033 Region 947: one-way jump link to region 1033 Region 1032: one-way jump link to region 1033 933 is Creston, MO, so that one should be removed from Creston. 947 is Hermi...

There is a region "Mississipi, MO".

Should that be "Mississippi, MO"?

Just bought, so I am scooping up these little mods. Thanks for the effort. I'd like to ask if any knows if it is possible to increase the likelihood of commanders being KIA? I am thinking specifically brigadiers, but I would think the ability to influence each rank (with a descending likelihood fac...

The manual states that corps commanders should also benefit from an Aide de Camp but I haven't tested it yet. Actually, I'm not sure that's what it says. From rev20 of the manual: "Units in the region are part of a Corps and Army Headquarters which includes a capable Aide de Camp (i.e. A non-Army c...

In the "Political States" map view, Allegany, PA is displayed in Maryland blue. Looking at the Areas.ini file, we see an "$Allegany, MD" entry for Area #3 (MD), and there is no "$Allegany, PA" entry for Area #2 (PA). I'm no expert on which state this region should be in (PA, I am guessing), but it n...

There are a few regions with duplicate names on the map. Region 76: same name ("Susquehanna, PA") as 46 Region 165: same name ("Whyte, VA") as 151 Region 231: same name ("Burke, NC") as 205 Region 1218: same name ("Small Rapid") as 1208 Region 1471: same name ("Eastern Gulf of Mexico") as 1466 Regio...

These should fix the link. Backup and overwrite existing files in ACW/GameData/Regions. 860Carthage, IL.rgn 1022Keokuk, IA.rgn While you're in the mood for fixing up map issues... ;) I wrote a quick Java program to check the entire map for consistency. Here's the output from a run on the 1.06 regio...
