Hi Calvinus, This doesn't seem to effect the saved games. Or does it? I confirm this. Loading a save game that I just started with version 1.06e (first patch) I got a ctd while loading the program. After this I started a new game and had no problem. ... no wait..., after it clearly seems to affect ...
Update: I started the same savegame Nov/Dec 1918 again and made a sincere peace proposal to russia. The chances of success were 100%. 2 times I got the bad peace like before. The headline tells me that I reached "world domination" but it's a "bad peace" with a victory score of 0. 3 time I got a ctd....
I started the savegame Nov/Dec 1918 again. No country was communist or in a revolutionary status. I didn't reproduce the world revolution result again altough I didn't changed anything. I guess I try to propose a seperate peace with russia. If they accept I will win the game, right? France surrender...
I'm wondering if it's better to do so: - one click centers the map without switching the bottom frame focus to the HQ detail (so keeping the focus to the Reinf. box); - double click centers the map and switch the focus. Do you like such a solution? ;) Yes, I think it's a good solution! So: 12 point...
Calvinus, what do you mean with "revolutionary status"? Are countries with a strike or/and a mutiny in a revolutionary status? If not, then only russia seemed to collapse. But after this I only got the message and after I clicked on the message box I was forced to leave the game and was sent to the ...
This outcome depends on how many nations collapsed due to a Communist revolution, of course. So try the way of separate peace with Russia, when you feel she's near to the end. This will prevent a Communist outcome. ;) But did I miss a hint that this revolution was near? Till this moment no nation c...
In November-December 1918 I just finished my first game. I won a "bad peace". I guess russia collapsed in the end. The information box told me that communism spread all over the world and that I got a victory score of 0 (in words: zero). O man, that's a really unspectacular score. I got france in 19...
Hy calvinus, here is my savegame with the reshuffle bug. After starting an old savegame (1.06a, b or c) I get the reshuffle event every round since 1916. Actually I'm in June 1918 and I'm still getting this event. BTW when you look at my savegame you will recognize that I'm playing with a braindead ...
Is it a bug? Every turn I get a reshuffle event.
So before I can choose any event they are lost again.
Is it because I'm playing an old savegame (version 1.06b or c)?
Now I'm playing 1.06d beta.
I am a big fan of this game and of the hard work from calvinus. :p ompom: So I took a rest the last weeks and waited for a polished and shiny version of the game. What I read now seems to me that this time could be reached soon. I am really looking forward playing a complete game (from 1914 to 1919)...
The crashes of yoppy are caused by a memory leak due to an air mission scheduled by AI for a stack that is destroyed for Isolation. So herewith a very quick fix you can do by yourself, waiting for the new patch... ;) Run MS Excel and open the GameRules.CSV DB, located in [game folder]\Data\DB . Go ...
I have to try it. First I wanted to finish my grand campaign. ... OK. Without sound I got a crash too. So I started a quick and new tannenberg scenario and played (with sound) easy and fast till the end without a crash. But I'm anxious about getting disappointments by starting a new grand campaign.
calvinus wrote:I successfully reproduced your crash, related to air warfare (air missions), and I fixed it. So you all will have this bug fixed with the next patch.
But I had no crash direct after an air mission. I crashed at the end of the military resolution - with and without air mission; no difference.
Hello Calvinus, because I'm at work I can't attach my savegames but I attached them already in this thread: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=12312 With the october save I can't proceed. (crash as described above) By the way; after a new install of ww1 (and my xp system) patchted to 1.05c ...
Sadly I have to report that after patching to 1.05c my game seems to be unplayable too. I'm in October 1917 and get a crash after dissolving the military moves, the battles (all against enemies without any content) and the sieges. I've tried 3 times and got everytime a crash even before I could do a...
Because of a fresh XP-install I have to install all my programs again. I have the downloaded version from ageod. The lastest patch is 1.05b, right? Do I have to install the foundation patch first and if yes, where will I find it? I only got a french version (french text in the install screen) but I ...
Happy Holidays and a big applause for your extraordinary work on the program and help here in the forum so that we never felt lost with the early problems.
ompom:
August 1917 (I'm not really sure if this was the last turn France was in war status.)
September 1917 (at least France is the last month in war status or it's the first turn after capitulation.)
Oktober 1917 (Capitualtion for sure)
I guess I'm in Oktober 1917 as cp. I'm playing with the F4(diplomatic) Map. Starting the new month the color of the french areas changed from red to dark blue. I cannot move in their areas anymore. Did they capitulate? I've got no message on this and I think I was attacked in this month by a french ...
I checked my situation in June 1917. I add 2 savegames for everyone who is interested (especially for you calvinus). I locked up multiple french armies in Saint Lo (no decoy stacks). All 3 regions through wich they could reach the french mainland were blockaded by german armies. These armies moved o...
