Jaipur

How do you go about taking Jaipur? To begin with, the info on the Town doesn't say anything about a fort there. Still when Wellesley moves there, the Town is besieged. Fair enough. But then nothing happens. I get reports saying the siege hasn't accomplished anything and that goes on for months. Know...

I'm presently trying to figure out how to build Russian depots on Austrian soil. Seems I can't. Are you saying that there's a patch coming for this?

Regarding red/green. For me it's the opposite, which I think feels wrong. I've played to april 1806 without a single fight that wasn't initiated by the opposing side. Making the frame flicker, with text in red, suddenly makes my fleet come alive. I haven't applied the latest patch, however. In any c...

Ebbingford. Okay, then I have done it wrong. When the red frame flickers the tool-tip says: "Click to have your fleet intercept enemy fleets passing by", which means the opposite. If the frame is non-red the text goes: "Your fleet will engage enemy fleets ...". Should the tool-tip texts be reversed?...

Blockade

Just a Quick question regarding blockading the French fleet. I have lots of British ships in the areas adjacent to some French ports. Yet enemy squadrons seems to slip in and out without much trouble. This might be as intended and if so -- fine. I only want to know if the blocking of harbours for th...

Think I stay with controlling the countries myself. Mainly, I'm afraid that trying to control things through the window, would be like shouting directives to fotball players while standing outside the stadium. I'll probably only confuse the AI. Nice to have learned that I can actually open other nat...

Thank you.

If someone could confirm: once I open a nation and then save, the AI is overwritten for all actions, military and others, for that nation and turn?

Gosh, Oho, I never realized that one can click the lesser flags. If I ever read the text 'click any flag' I must have thought that it refered only to the French or British flag and that the small flags were for prettiness only. This changes everything. The way to go now is to let the AI handle the n...

Coalition and AI.

Is there any way of playing (controlling) the units of Austria, Prussia, Russia or any other French hostile state? My concern is the situation created by the AI playing both France and most Coalition forces when I play Britain. The situation on the Continent is just a mess, with French armies deep i...

Thanks. At least that confirmed that I wasn't doing anything wrong or had some additional options available.

And, blimey, if I could at least get rid of that O'Donell, who has been with me from early beginning, but can't be made useful in any way.

Spanish Regular Unit Reinforcements

We're currently playing the Spanish Campaign, with me as the Allies. Presently there seem to be no possibility of getting regular Spanish infantry reinforcements. Is this correct? We're now at a february 1809 turn.

What confuses me the most is how to de-select a unit moving synchronized. I've tried several times to un-click the sync-move button, giving the unit a new, different order, only to see it truggle along with the rest anyway. I've also tried to give the general order first (Army HQ-order), then move t...

Yes, I was aware of Brunes 30000 troops.

Anyway, even if the British didn't land historically, there's no way a player will forego that option unless checked. So there will be some home rules on the matter!

The British in the Thames or Danube-scenario

We have just started the 1805-extended scenario which looks great. One thing do bother me, however. I can't see any French "Home Forces" save the garrisons. When the French player moves east with the historical units of the Grande Armée, is there anything preventing the British from putting 50000 me...

Save peculiarities in 1.3b

We've just started a new campaign in 1.3b. Everything is normal until I (Non-host player) try to save the game before returning ORD-file to opponent. I save the game, but there just aren't any ORD-file in the "saves". If I close the game and restart it, it is possible to open the saved file, however...

Total Force Strength

Is there anywhere you can actually see your overall strength? If it is, I haven't yet found it. Pressing F5 will give some general information, including the combat losses so far. But this is rather pointless unless you can compare it with other numbers. I would very much like to see initial strengt...
