Voted for Antiquity Greek.

Not sure that something like the Peloponnesian war would work all that well with the age system but a game about Alexander ? Yes, definitely yes.

The lost cause stuff is really quite exaggerated, of course the south could have won the war. Just imagine if the southern army had prevailed at Gettysburg, the North would have been in a damn bad situation, in a fatal situation. Of course the fall of Vicksburg is a major event, in fact maybe even m...

CSA too.

Trying to change history is always an interesting challenge.

Plus, i kind of dislike most of the Union's generals.

CSA's generals are far more charismatic. ^^

How did you first hear about AGEod's games? I was looking for a good wargame, i made some research on the net and voila. Even if Europa Universalis stay my favorite game, well not exactly the same kind of game but anyway, i have to say that Napoleon's Campaigns is a hell of a good game. Congratz. (...

Knights of honor, all the way.

I can't count the number of hours i have played this game.

Not "the" greatest strategy game maybe, but the one i played and enjoyed the most for sure.

I've family in the little town where Soult was from. (Saint amand Soult, Tarn, Midi Pyrénnée) And when you see this place, a complete rat hole lost in the black mountain, dude, this guy had a strong will for sure. That's not everybody who can make his way out of there for becoming a famous man. ^^ A...

Leger probleme

Lol, more than 42000 casualties for the north during the first battle.

That's indeed a pretty nice victory. ^^

generally dispute the belief that either the CSA had better soldiers or better generals as a whole. Mc Dowell, Mc Clellan, Pope, Burnside, Sherman...they were far to be great quite honestly. The fact that the war lasted 4 years proves that there was a serious problem. Lee was good, sure, but hell, ...

I really like Civilization 4.

Yeah, i know, it's not a wargame, but anyway, that's a game i really like to play and, well, that's the more important.

Galactic civilization 2 and Rome Total War and are cool too.

Can The South Win?

Well, if the South could not win, that would be not very interesting i think. ^^

After all, that's a game.

And what's the meaning of a game with two armies and that one of those armies can't win ?

That would be kind of ridiculous, from players point of view.
