Thanks for taking the time to do this AAR. Wish they would add an option to turn off FOW for the other Entente side so you cold see the battles and such. Would add so much more immersion to the game.

Having an option to turn off FOW for the other Entente side would be a great addition to the game.

The manual recommends having a depot near the front for supply IIRC. You can stack the air unit with the depot so it recovers faster when needed.

Minor Battle Planner name glitch

When I mouse over one of the deployments in the Battle Planner it says BPL_NAM_DELAYBATTLE instead of putting up the deployment name which I assume should be Delay Battle.

Warplan text runs off the bottom of the window

Started the historical campaign. Clicked on the Plan 17 message on the right side of the screen. The window comes up and I noticed the text runs off the bottom of the window and onto the map starting with "During the turns of August 1914...". Same problem with the last couple of lines of text for th...

My first impression is that $34.99 is a great price. Much less than it costs me to take our family of four out to dinner at a nice restaurant!

I worked one summer with an older man back in the 60's who worked for my father. He was a German machine gunner during the war according to my dad. He was the nicest unassuming guy you would ever want to meet. Never got up the nerve to ask him about the war. Wish now that I had.

A sobering statistic

Was browsing through A Military Atlas of the First World War by Arthur Banks today and came across this passage on page 13:

At a conservative estimate...one sailor, soldier or airman was killed for every 10 seconds the war lasted; and it continued in the end for fifty-one months.

Wow.

There is an unofficial hotfix for that issue from Ace.

Edit - I see Colonel Klink beat me to it. Just for that it will have to be "Berlin, flat as a pancake!". :D

There is a list but it's only visible to the testers right now because it's still a work in progress. Of course there will be a list published along with the patch when it's finished.
