Re: Ageod Announces English Civil War!

I believe this would make nice flavor events, as the North American theater is not in the game but the flavor/feeling would be great.

Would you be able to write a few descriptive texts for those events and provide the dates? :indien:

Actually it is even more complex than the expanded system in the sense that you have to count only on yourself and be careful all the way :papy:

Re: "Crazy Surrending rules & Ageod backup for this game"

FYI, the WSS game is produced by an independent team and designer, as was the case of EAW or TYW. We are aware of issues on WON and other titles, but our small team has now been assigned to other full-time compelling tasks and we don't have the leisure to work on past titles right now. We however us...

We won't redo flags now, unless someone has special artistic talent to reporduce them, because the artist contract and tasks are over.

Re: Portraits

Sorry we missed that one totally (I was on vacation when you posted  ). since October most sources were found and we have almost accurate portraits (ether from real sources or redone) for most leaders now. Of course, a few were absent or coined...the real issue is that we need coloured source...

Re: Cantabrian scenario

When I played it (as Rome), I remember how hard it was historically and I proceeded step by step, first taking out the plains where the Romans are at their best. I tried to keep my Legions concentrated in the biggest (yet still correctly commanded) possible stacks. Augustus is good, but Aggripa is b...

Re: [WSS] Wars of Succession first screenshots!

I guess it would work as long as no interaction is expected between the respective sides...i.e. no possible diplomatic action between any members of the GAL vs BOU match (Western conflict, War of Spanish Succession) and the ASW vs SWA (Sweden vs enemies, Great Northern War)

Re: [WSS] Wars of Succession first screenshots!

No, it is not (yet) plan like this...experience shows that game with 4-players and free-for-all diplomacy are messy, unmanageable and end-up in EIA-like simulations which are more Risk-like than anything else. The team has for now planned only alliance-vs-alliance scenarios with no interaction beyon...

Re: How do I take control of a strategic town?

Can't see your image. If the objective screen shows as uncontrolled, please check the shield it displays...if the red one with crossed spears, it means it's contested or rebel, which is probably due to the loyalty in the city being too low (check region tooltip). To improve it, station large forces ...

I don't really understand the issue..the manual is based on a very close copy of other Ageod games manual...which, although not perfect, are satisfactory.

What is missing in the manual? :bonk:

Yes, on the other hand so many people complained on the idea that you had to play the whole of a side (players who wanted to play - only - say Russia or GB, and not the all anti-French coalition) that the error was understandable... Overall I still feel that, with dozens of hours of dedicated and kn...
