Pre Ordered, never recieved download instructions or a serial/key

I pre ordered on 29 August via PayPal and have never received download instructions (or a serial or key). I did recieve an email indicating that I should download a patch into my game today?!

I installed it but the game doesn't run.

The attachment PayPalReciept.jpg is no longer available

Please help!

Thanks

Well, a $20 investment upfront is not all that much given the level of support provided, so DLCs seem to be the way to fiscally support continued support for the game. If you write this way its sound like good way, but it have little feel of milking to me. I will rather see expansion with more scena...

Adding in a Leader

Added a leader into the GC without modifying the scenario file. Did the following: Create Model files - Created additional leader model(.mdl files) files 11276-11279 (general 1/2/3). Must either edit cached file (topic unto itself) or delete it. - (I edited it) Create Unit files - Created additional...

It is my curse really. I only enjoy playing against other live, thinking, breathing entities (in all my pc games). I am dying to pick up and play my ageod games again, but without any sort of pbem security, it unfortunately always ends up with my opponent hosting and playing "surprisingly" perfect....

What does it take in terms of riverene units to block flow of supply?

True. And yet, 8 cannons firing with +14% chance to hit will score more hits than 6 guns with +42% to hit. Bigger simply *is* better, and artillery is the king :) Depends on the base chance to hit. You are right if the base chance is greater than 70%, otherwise the expected value for number of hits...

Quite simple. When posting something like the above post and obviously wanting an explanation of some sort, POST the saved game files if you expect to have any real action taken into looking into reasons/explanations as to why something occured. It's been stated quite frequently throughout the foru...

Thanks for the commentary Gray. :non:

Since I am not hosting, I have asked my opponent to take a look provide the complete save as required.

I assume that just the USA turn would be of no use, so it is hard to post what I do not have.

Unusual Battle Result

Here is a result that I found rather unbelievable: http://www.ageod-forum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=6386&stc=1&d=1236393361 Lee is trapped in Washington with an Army 10 times as powerful. The Potomac is blacked by 4+ naval elements and Union has all the neighboring regions with more than 50% M...

Gray - I don't think denisonh was arguing that the raids should stop, and I know I wasn't. Raids, even deep ones, were a historical part of the war, and they are also a fun aspect of the game, up to a point. But it sometimes seems to get out of hand. My complaint is not that raids happen, but that ...

It is. Any corps/armies in defensive stance get a -10% to their roll. Stance is one thing, RoE is another. I think that RoE should be an impact on ability to "march to the guns", as a force set to disengage on contact should be less likely to seek it! If a stack is set to disengage or "hold at all ...

we re-ran the turn and Dix was given rail movement orders that lowered the time to 4. We had similar results. The battle occurred on day 7 and Dix was already in Manassas by then, so he had to have marched to the sound of the guns. Seems so. Maybe" march to the sound of the guns" needs to be affect...

Squarian - I basically agree with everything you said, but would still like to see the effectiveness of deep raids toned down. I think it's too easy for raiders to stay supplied, and they move quickly enough that they are difficult to catch or chase away. I'm in favor of seeing the rules tweaked in...

I think it was the frontage bonus to the CSA that gave them the victory. The USA has McDowell has their army leader so Hamilton could have penalties to all his stats or at best unmodified, while in Sept 62 Lee would be the Army commander for the CSA. The battle report only shows their unmodified st...

Also, if he was the only commander active they usually take the brunt of the attack. I've especially noticed this with HQs stacked with corps. The HQ divisions usually won't engage. Be careful that you have 10% military-controlled territory to retreat to and that the enemy ZOC isn't blocking you. B...

Initial Analysis

Based on discussion with my opponent, here is what I postulate what happened: 1. The battle began on day 4 and ended on day 7. 2. CSA marched to the guns with an additonal 1-2 Corps and Army Stack 3. The reckless trait for a division commander affects the entire Corps keeping Dix from retreating unt...

Regarding the probability of Kentucky seceeding. If I understand correctly, there is a 25% each turn Kentucky joins the South, as long as South has enough troops along the border. That means the chance for Kentucky joining South is 1-(0.75^7) which is about 86.6%. There is nothing the USA can do ab...

The Kentucky Neutral Add-On does in fact inhibit the formation of both sides' divisions until 1861/10/01 for both the Kentucky Add-On scenarios. This is ONLY in effect for the Kentucky Add-On versions of the April and July scenarios, and not for either of the vanilla April/July scenarios. This mean...
