Thank you and yes I guess I have been away too long. So many good games out there and hard for me to stay focused on just one for too long! But giving Hannibal a shot now. :-)

ok thanks for you input. I know some games can have a switch or mod to change colors so hence me starting with that idea first.

Color Blind Options?

I just picked up Hannibal but since I'm color blind, and play on a huge monitor, the small red text is hard for me to read. Are there any mod's for this?

Hello, I'm doing the second tutorial for WWI Gold, patched to 1.08L. On the step as shown in the screenshot, joining the second cavalry unit to the first detached cavalry unit doesn't work for me. I've tried different mouse sensitivities, tried moving the cursor all over the Milwa region and the 2n...

Seems like I'll always be trying to learn something else regarding this game. I click on say, Belgium, and click on Economic Aid. I pick France, which has plenty of money; but I can't move the slider. Doesn't matter which country I pick to give aid. Is there a specific phase that I can only do this...

Without meaning to be too critical, I have to say that the map in this game – and various map modes – is very frustrating. For one, the lag when scrolling is a huge nuisance, even though I’ve done everything in my power to lessen it (through the Configurator, and trying single-CPU mode), and despit...

Yea I later found out that Vista saves files in the UAC Virtualstore folder and XP does not. That really was my problem.

Yes. You can start another dummy game and read what they are is one way I know of.

Can someone tell me how to get a Britsh HQ (or small army) from Britain to Egypt. I activate a Brit army in Britain and click on sea transport. I try to move it into the Med but it hangs up along the coast of France. I wound up 'landing' it in France and moving it to a southern med French seaport. ...

Hi I'm just learning the nuances of the game and I'm stuck. Just started my first grand campaign, it's August, and the red flags signify that some of the Russian armies have mandatory attacks scheduled. I've moved my French armies successfully (the red flags turned to green) but when I try to move ...

Moving Save Files from PC to PC

I like to play at work ;) and home. I thought that copying August 1914.sav and .map would be enough to transfer from home to work. But it does not seem to see the file after I do this. Is this not alllowed?

Thank you for the quick reply. I look forward to your game and the 50% Matrix sale pulled me in and the good comments about it...

So it seems I must have Divx for other features besides the Intro movie? DirectX of course but Divx I wondered about.

Other than the intro video, is this software required to play the Gold version? I try to limit software on my system and wondering if I really need this installed.
