There's a directors cut of Gettysburg and Gods and Generals, being released on May 25th. Gettysburg gets about 16 minutes of added footage, while Gods and Generals gets about ninety minutes, which will include the Battle of Antietam. Both will be released in bluray only I believe.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate all the work thats been done to make this game better, but I think that after the next patch fixing known bugs, except for mods at pl...

ALMOST A MIRACLE : The American Victory In The War Of Independence. Reading it while playing BOA2. I love the way the book is laid out ,makes it very easy to follow the war year by year. Highly recommended. Before that read "Cruciable Of War" on the Seven Years War,another good one.

Although The Official Records are the best source for the Civil War,one should keep in mind, that high ranking officers, are not known for admitting to many mistakes. There's a lot of butt-covering in that 128 volumes.

Bought it back in the 80's,cost me $95 dollars US, plus shipping and handling. They also had 50 artist proofs available for about $150 if I remember. It was the first of three paintings Troiani did on Gettysburg ,one for each day. This one is from ...
