This symbol on units that are moving eludes me

Looks like a notebook or calendar with an red X. The red X almost looks like crossed swords but then I also see it on supply units. Maybe it is a calendar saying something about time.

This is my first game. Caesar vs Pompey. I am enjoying the simulation of economic, political, military, supply, leader quality and foreign influences on a campaign and/or ruling in Roman era. It might be lacking diplomatic aspects and how to bribe opponents turning them into 'allies'.

Ah, thank you. I now spot the four regions that have a bag of grain on them 1 each in Sicily, Egypt, Baetis and Africa. If you tooltip over them you can see the number out of 11 bags each contributes, hope controlling more cuts down on frequency of riots. Since there doesn't seem to be diplomacy, wo...

Explain food riots in Rome

How do i stop them? Minor bread distribution? It explains I do not control wheat raising province of which Sicily is one but now I control Sicily, will the riots stop? Or do i have to contorol other areas like Egypt or Baeta?
