I've found the problem on my machine - cyberpatrol was apparently causing AACW some difficulties. If I used EndItAll to stop the parts of cyberpatrol I was allowed to stop, AACW runs fine...

I have had the same problem with installation. I beleive what is happening is that the registration screen is appearing off the screen.
