Really any photo will a lower quality is just that much harder to look right (and I'm in a rut right now trying to get back into coloring because I'm struggling with even really good quality photos). This confederate general looks excellent.

I have a ton of colorized photos, I actually started coloring photos for lesser missing generals for this very game and then kind of just got into coloring photos and not really doin...

I have so many portraits...just haven't cut out the backgrounds...still haven't found a quick way to do this with quality. And been doing and playing so many other games.

I don't think so. I backed up the original game to an external drive, and then modified models, units, and added the unit, army, and leader portraits. They showed up in game before...and in fact, my portrait of Speed Fry shows up correctly, but everyone else that SHOULD have a photo is just a clone.

I can't get the new portraits to show up in my game. Somehow the game is finding portrait files that are no longer even on my computer!

Good idea fudging a "civilian" photo to create a decent photo for him during the war. Its a shame that some of these guys don't have really good quality photographs available from the war.

Yeah, always better to cut into the subject than having a lighter surrounding color.

I'll try that Smith. Still not the BEST but I think it is a bigger source than the one I used (which was downright tiny).

I already did Smith (before I really got much better), but there is little that can be done with him. The source photo is very poor

George Getty is a guy I'd like to redo. Noticed him in the game. I have some Crook pictures in my folder. He'll be coming along at some point

I referred to vanilla sizes, but otherwise, I haven't experienced ANY of my creations in-game yet! I'll pay attention to it going forward. Thanks for the feedback! Like I said, haven't been able to judge for myself in-game.

Yeah, noticed that...also in the stacks the units outside of divisions (for me, I keep artillery at the corps/stack level) is all mixed up...a supply unit, then artillery unit, then another supply, then maybe a HQ unit, then another artillery...strange.

I'm having no problems with gameplay but graphically and performance-wise. The graphic are blurred and off-center. I can see the lines between individual provinces as if they are floating apart. Clicking doesn't always work the first time or two and scrolling on the map is choppy (before this update...

I'm having the same problems graphically. Clicking buttons don't respond as smoothly as before and the graphics are blurred and messed up. Has it been fixed in the last few hours??
