I don't recall receiving any AGEOD newsletter (I also double-checked my junk mail folder to confirm the newsletter wasn't caught in there). I use AOL.

Thanks for the quick response guys. Yep, I'm using Windows 7 and installed WIA in the default location. The saves were right where Hobbes indicated. Thanks again. The support available on these forums, even long after release, is always impressive.

Where are saved game files stored?

My apologies in advance for such a basic question, but where are the saved game files stored? I loked in the obvious placed, the "C:\Program Files\Wars in America\WIA\Saves" but the folder appears empty. I'd like to copy my current game save over to my laptop to continue the game on the road, if I c...

Just out of curiosity are the community/mod improvements to the AI that I've seen some reference to applicable to all scenarios or just certain ones such as the ...

Could be, but I've tried downloading it half a dozen times over last 20-30 minutes and still no luck, just get a message in winzip that it's not a valid archive

Turn Replay

My apologies if this question has already been asked and answered, but are there any plans to retrofit the new turn replay feature from WIA to AACW?

The cursor can be changed by AGESettings, external to the game. You can win a minor victory by having more VP than you opponent. For the text misplaced, I'll check. Thanks for the report. Also the icon changed to Napoleon's one has been reported, this will be fixed the 26 or 27th of December. Thank...

Well just played a short scenario with the new patch and have a couple of questions. 1st ,did the option to use the default cursor get removed, i thought this used to be listed as one of the game options. 2nd, playing the South Carolina scenario I did not achieve the requisite objectives, yet the vi...

Respectfully, I think that is the wrong way to think about it. You may know that Patterson disappears, and not to give him a division which might disappear too, and I might know it, but someone who buys the game tomorrow might not know it, and if the troops disappear, then he will have been bitten ...

you don't need a replacement to recover hits in BOA, but you need additional supply chits. Sorry for the confusion. OK, thanks Pocus. You only need replacements where an element is totally destroyed. You just need an additional supply chit to bring up the strength of a surviving element. Do you als...

if this is the BOA FAQ, then it is wrong. In BOA replacements are free when it comes to recovering hits points. Pocus, In another thread you stated that: got one of your save, there is no bug, but a rule was forgotten :) The rule is that, even if recovering hits is 'free', replacements-wise, in BOA...

Thanks Lafrite. I had not heard that another patch was coming. I've found the new supply rules definitely a challenge but thought they seemed more realistic than the virtual free pass on supply issues I had experienced before (well, except for winter in enemy territory). Although, if the AI is strug...

Additional Campaigns and Scenarios?

Can we get an inkling of when some of the intermediate length scenarios (i.e. single theatre or single year campaigns) might be released? I'm unable to read most of the event messages I am receiving regarding industrial expansion (playing Union in 1861 scenario). I'll second this request. While the log provides most of the information a player needs about what happened during the previous turn, it doesn’t help with this. As a result, the player doesn’t get to see movement of detected enemy units unless they happen to be on the area where the screen is center...
