Hmm, I am guessing you found where the flag graphics are held CW2>Graphics>Factions and have maybe found where they are actually assigned CW2>Gamedata>Factions I see events that change some flags on the map .. example for Nevada below .. so it looks like you could change flags for states .. not seen...

My initial thought is no .. but .. it is a difficult question to answer and is probably not that black and white and may be dependent on when during the war you asked the question There are a few factors at play here 1. The CSA had effectively 3 categories of troops a) Regular troops mustered into t...

Missouri I do believe Missouri was a little more clear cut than Kentucky but it may well come down to your interpretation as to whether Price intended and had the influence to live up to his side of the agreement with Harney. I think the problem with that though is that 1. Gov Jackson was actively ...

My opinion, Missouri I have been researching what troops were organised and available early in the war but have not really looked too in depth at MO yet .. but .. I agree that at the start the only troops available to the CSA should be the Missouri State Guard, no other CSA troops were present. They...

So, in theory it would be possible for the South never to get Lee as a commanding officer, provided it can hold e.g. all along the Potomac? What I find is that if you reload the previous turn and replay, or if you just start a new game without closing the game down, that you will often get the same result .. so the "random" generators seem to be something set when the game loads (I am not 100% sure of that but it appears that way from t...

This is probably a solution to both your problems .. ahistorical but within the mechanics of the game For the Sioux uprising 1. Yah, I am thinking of looking at the map but from the research I have just done it looks rather ominous .. I agree with kc87 on both his points 1. Additional regions in Virginia so you see the flanking movements and mobility that we actually saw during campaign seasons. Modding this needs access to the map making tool though. 2 The units already get a significant defensive vs offensive bonus in their sta...

I you play the game for too many turns (6 months or so) then it does seem to have issues .. not sure if it is a memory leak or not.

Best thing to do is save your game and close the game down and then just reopen and load your save game .. runs fine again for another 6 months or so
