I have updated with the latest patch, 1.03 June 7th, and now the game won't load. It gets to about 44% loading the textures and then stops loading and I get a message saying NGC.exe has stopped working. Help please.

I can only agree with this. I am presently involved in a 7 player pbem game, as Prussia, and it is June 1805 and the British have just invaded France with two 2,000 plus stacks. Having studied the Napoleonic Wars for years this is ridiculous!!

The AI is far from perfect, but is not utter crap. You can definitively play it SP. Some scripts might do weird things, like the Caucasus focus. Without scripts on the other hand, France will try to capture Gibraltar. Indeed, a human would probably not do that. As for the British, the AI will alway...

I can add to this: I did what I did when I first bought the game and was advised from Matrix Tech Supp. forum. I uninstalled the game, deleted both the game folder and then the My Documents/My games/Won folder and installed from scratch. A complete re-install, then patched with today's beta patch. ...
