I believe it works similar to AJE where you can have 2 3 stars in a stack and the one with highest seniority is the commander. Unfortunately this is difficult to always find out in TYW as all the Catholic named commander has very high seniority and easily become Seniority 1. The larger issue I've se...

Aesthetically? I like it. The map is beautiful and the unit counters on the bottom are easy to read (I thought ROP & RUS were too small). Turn processing. Very, very fast; at least in the first year of play. Anyone who complains about speed probably yells at the microwave when popping popcorn. No, ...

I don't know if having to plan to stake the guard would be appropriate, as when they were present they were always held in reserve. So if they're in the stack, I think much like Lindi says, their commitment should be an automatic thing when a certain amount of line units waver/rout. I don't know if ...

One of the keys of such a game is to have a great map. We are now progressing and the map is almost complete. To give you some hints, we will use a base close to that of the 'Larger Europe Map' (another thread on this forum). Among novelties, some extra OMBs will be added, to represent some far-awa...

For people having a crash when there is a new turn (but not upon reloading same turn with the load window), can you try this quick fix: http://we.tl/qyo6VUQ1aN get from the link the new EAW.EXE and use it instead of the old one please, and report back. Thanks! Still having this issue with RC5, with...

Looking for PBEM for TEAW, ROP, NC, E1936, CWII, RUS, WIA, AJE

Yeah...pretty wide open about which game, been playing solo for a while but finally deciding to do some PBEM. I'd prefer one of the longer campaigns but anything is good.

I can do 1 turn a day, PM if you're interested.

Yep, I've also been having these crashes a few songs in, I've just been playing it in the background with the game muted. An excellent compilation (many songs I haven't found elsewhere) and great work nonetheless. I don't know any of the history behind it so I can't say anything for its historical s...

Replacements: the "10% percent rule"?

So I've been stumped on this in a few different games that use purchasable replacements, but let's use E1936 as an example. So the idea is to have a number of replacements available ("currently in reserve" when you mouse over the replacement chits in F2) that is 10% of the number of total matching e...

These are some good remarks, I'll bring them to the attention of the whole team, but on the engine side, there are plans on some of the aspects you discuss. I would really like to give better feedback on supply for example... Or a delay order would be nice! Thanks for your input! :) Fantastic! The ...

I have just recently started getting into Ageod games but I have thoroughly enjoyed them so far, to the point that I bought WIA, RoP RUS, EAW, NC, and E1936 in the span of 2 months. They are the only computer wargames I've bought that I did not feel my money would have been better spent on boardgame...

I have a question about the petit guerre in the SYW. I understand the term and what it means historically. But I am wondering what this means in game terms. Does it mean the light units and hussars moving behind enemy lines to alter the military control of areas along their lines of supply? Raiding...
