Has anyone played Making History The Great War, how does it compare & which Is better

so would you say that LGG Gold is better or worse than TEAW

Surely as a recent release it would be an improvement?

Also to add to the above, I purchased a previous WW1 game, La Grande Guerre 14-18 a few years back

Did not really get into it, was put off by the map as the continent wasn't horizontal looking at screen
