104 years ago, on the 11 month, 11 day, 11 hour and the 11 minute, the guns fell silent on the Western Front.

May they rest in peace.

Re: Book Recomendations

As a follow up to your gent's conversation, I'd like to recommend Marie Favereau's The Horde How the Mongols Changed the World. In my youth, I spent several years traveling on horseback for over 7,000 miles on the PCT and through the Western United States. Thus, unlike most Westerners, I have a pret...

Yes, yes, I did - most impressive and wonderful work by General Snoopy!

Now I just have to grit my teeth and take the plunge into the deep end of the pool.

It's high time I dog paddled out to where the big boys are and started making code changes.

Peering over the Trench from

Hey gang, I'd like to pick your minds and tap into the forum's collective wisdom. I'm hunting for recommended books that look at the Great War from the Central Power's point of view. Books fitting this mold currently residing in my library are: Ring of Steel , Alexander Watson; The First World War, ...

Wow,

Great catch I have never bought naval engineers as the CSA, but I've always purchased 1, and sometimes more, as the Federals.

I would agree.

For the South to still be standing, even if both eyes are swollen shut and their front teeth are knocked out, it still counts as a win for the boys in gray.

The CP is my stronger suite, but I should be able to give you a good run for your money as the Allies. Send me a PM if you’re interested. Straight Arrow PS I don't have any G...

Re: I'm bored playing this AI.

There is a key and vital reason to play pbem that is almost never mentioned; pbem is by far the best way to improve your game. I don't care how much you study the material, know the history, or have played solo; real mastery comes from the struggle with other humans. Almost all the tricks in my bag ...

Re: I'm bored playing this AI.

There are some excellent, dependable and trust worthy pbem players out there. When you find one, daisy chain and build up your pool of potential opponents by asking who they play with.

If you want to avoid pbem altogether, try playing both sides. It works; I've done it for years.

Has anyone noticed if the CP receives a one time boost to its manpower power pool each time a nation, Turkey, Bulgaria, or Romania, joins its ranks?

Lengthing the Craps game while on Blockade duty

Combat is abstracted in the Shipping box; this means posture only affects cohesion loss and it is best to keep all units there on green/green orders.

Is this also true for combat in the Blockade Boxes?
