K.u.K. and nationalities

I'm in micromanaging hell trying to attach Austro-Hungarian troops of different nationalities to leaders with the according tags. Is it really worth it? Can't find a clue in the manual about how this affects combat stats. Any input would be welcome!

Even knowing who is promotable doesn't help because you need to know who has the most seniority. The tooltip only gives you the next in line, not the top of the heap which is what you really need. Also it seems that Austrian 3 star generals are considered in the German chain of seniority so to make...

Enabling corps command and losing stats

When I enable corps command for certain officers they lose stats. 3-1-1 becomes a miserable 1-0-0, 4-1-1 becomes 2-0-0. So ist there a point in building extra field artillery at all? Those small guns come with infantry regiments anyway, right?
