Traffic Rule

Returning to the game after a break and found this traffic rule.

What does it represent and how does it work exactly?

Thanks!

It should not matter. If it matters, then there is a bug. Actually, I would have preferred if it mattered, ie when passive the submarines should be there but not attempt to sink ships. Notice also that some raiding by the Germans is also happening all overseas sea regions and in case you don't want...

U-Boat and Raiders Posture in shipping box??

I have read different explanations of the best posture for German Raiders and U-Boats in the shipping box. Such as: 1. It does not matter 2. It does matter 3. It sometimes matters 4. I have no clue 5. Its in the manual 6. Its not in the manual 7. Its in the patch 8. Stay green/green in the box 9. St...

Yes, I just wish he would have been a little more detailed. I met him once when I was a small boy, but didn't think to ask him anything at the time! DAM!

Its a treasure to have a family members own words about their service, since most have passed away now. My great uncle wrote this account of his service in 1979 for the local newspaper: I researched the friend he mentions named "Doaley Mays", and found this: 31143[/ATT...

Another photo of my great uncle Elbert Tye. He was not a real tall guy, only about 5'5'', and served as a runner. During the Meuse-Argonne offensive he was wounded by enemy fire while relaying a message.

Ever Play this Game? Inspiration for TEAW?

I played games like this forever back in the 1980s. Your classic board wargame with a million rules to learn!

Ever play this one? I like how AGEOD matches and surpasses the strategic depth of these 1980s classics.

This is the larger photo of my great uncle with his family after returning home in 1919. They were poor coal miners in Kentucky, but put on their best clothes to have a photo taken with the returning soldier.

These are all great stories. I'm sure many stories though have been lost over time. Luckily I have my great uncle's service record and a copy of an article he wrote for his local newspaper in the 1970s about his experiences. In the US you can write to the national archives and get any family member'...

Do you have a family member who fought in World War One?

I thought it would be nice to share family stories about family members who served in the Great War. Mine is below. Please share yours! This is a photo of my great uncle, Elbert Tye. He served in the 61st Infantry Regiment, a part of the US Army's 5th Division. He fought at the battles of St. Mihiel...
