I agree with a lot of what is said. As the Union player, I try to create as much infantry as possible in Missouri and Cairo, IL. Taking Springfield is key to controlling what goes on out West and allows easy access to western Arkansas. I try to destroy half the forts and Rebel depots so they act in ...

Welcome to the forums. I'm fairly new to CW2 but have spent hours playing the campaign game and am hooked. My wife doesn't like me as much anymore but on the plus side, Grant and Sherman have reached Memphis by Sept 1862 and Banks had claimed the Indian territories as his own. Buell/Thomas sits in N...

For corps commanders, should they have a separate stack from their underlying divisions or should they be lumped in a stack with one of their divisions?

Thank you both. With the battle planner, will it automatically come up when I have the right amount of troops and am planning a battle? Are we talking 50,000 or more or something higher? I think the most I have seen in a battle is about 40,000.

Newbie Questions

Hi All - I'm new to the forums but had played AACW and BOA2 (more recently). Finally took the plunge for this title and WOW!!! The creators have certainly reached new heights. I was raised on Avalon Hill board games and I have to say...this game makes you not miss them anymore. Kudos to everyone inv...
