Delay Movement

Is this available for land forces? Doesn't appear in special orders. I'm trying to find a way to ensure my Corps enter an Area on the same day . . .

Is it possible to post English version? For some reason, my downloaded version of game won't permit it to be accessed. Thanks

Very very few people want more than the detailed battle report that includes in WON the extra feature of EAW... You get the impression that a decent number want that, but that's because you are the ones speaking in the forum, the 'vocal minority' but an overwhelming number of players stops at the s...

Patch for Gold

Is there one still in works? I've been reluctant to start a long game since it came out given threads suggesting one is coming.

Gold - controlling both White factions

With great anticipation, I fired up Gold. The fall 1918 scenario (thanks for adding). I seem to be able to control both Eastern and Western Whites. This is cool, but is it intentional?

This great discussions shows why there should be some mechanism to have the anarchists not automatically be able to move forward/attack Zaragossa. You can of course even more forces w/o the leader, if inactive . . .

It is currently far too easy to roll up Zaragoza. Hopefully a future patch will have some mechanism to prevent Anarchists, perhaps without an active leader, from following orders.

There should be more ways to make pursuing that strategy difficult for the Republic. It is too easy, even with hard settings.

I hope it is out soon. This is the AGEOD game I play the most. Because of (i) the weekly scale; (ii) ability to finish in a few hours; and (iii) balance. Yesterday, I played against the AI as the Republic and won by the end of '37 at moderate difficulty levels. Typical strategy: Throw everything I c...

Opening Moves in the West

Would be neat if a Veteran gave folks insights into their moves with the CP forces in Belgium/Germany for first turn. E.g., what moves you plot with what forces.

Yes. I tried both without taking them and taking them out. Essentially I cannot move my stacks in regions that are blocked by the fortress in the turn that red is showed in those regions (Namur and the one in the North), even if Liege is to fall in the coming turn. How did you do it? Too long ago t...

Are you taking the siege guns, etc., out of 2d Army before attempting to move it? I'm sure the answer is yes, but I've found that an issue.

How can you find out such outcomes/results? I can't find any menus in the combat results to tell me how often the guns fired.

Questions: 1. If as the Entente you want to bottle up the CP fleet in the N Sea, do you need your ships at sea? If so, where should you put them each turn? 2. Or, is it sufficient to have them in a port/box and simple have intercept on? 3. Or something else? How far ships will move to engage in comb...

I am not at all unhappy sometimes with the AI. Started a game (v1.0) with the Russians and moved after 1914 in a Release Candidate patch (when ready for prime time it will be released, patience!). Not entirely sure when this German move happened, I have not been paying attention but it looks quite ...

Where can I find my serial #

I have my original .exe file and am moving the game to a new machine. But I cannot find my serial # (and didn't register and bought another email address ago). Is there a file in the game that contains my serial # on my system?

Thanks

What I experienced is that the whole box could not be entered. Much like a neutral region.
