The problem i have is that the forces walk through the front line, even if they find each other and the defender isn't pushed back. This isn't right for 1905 onward.

Would be great to have (1) -- raised patrol values -- implemented as an option in a future patch. Seems easy enough and very much needed, given era.

I really like Espana '36. I've solo'd both sides, on moderate levels, and it took a few plays to beat the AI on each side. As others have noted, there are a few problems that really need to be corrected: 1. Lack of ability to "stop" forces moving through your "Front line." Something needs to be done...

Thanks. The issue may have been the screen settings in Windows 8; by putting fonts at 100%, the resolution has improved. Will check why other potential crash issues.

I've had issues with RUS and was curious others' experiences.

I recently moved to a Windows 8 machine. RUS will load, but only in a distorted graphics mode (1024 x 768). The game is essentially unplayable at that resolution. When I try to change resolution of screen to 1080 x 1920, the program crashes (Direct X error). Espana '36 has a way to deal with this is...

Fixed issue (I think); game settings need to be set to manually select graphics level.

I just put the game on a Sony Vaio Pro13. The game won't run. It gives a DirectX burst error. Windows 8. It ran fine on Windows 7 machine. Please advise and thanks.
