Great ! You are enlisted. Some longtime wargaming friends from outside this forum would prefer to play the whole campaign from 1850-1920. Would you be available in this case too ? I´d still prefer to play SforA, as we won´t have to deal with all those Unification issues. My impression of PON is, the...

PoN - Scramble for Africa

Gentlemen. Did anybody play PoN - SforA as MP campaign before ? We are a party of 2-3 reliable gamers who would like to give it a try. Such a campaign 1880-1920 might take up to 3 years ! Means that requires fast and reliable gamers. Additionally we would like to wait for the new patch as it signifi...

My grandfather from my mother´s branch of the family belonged to a Bavarian Cavalry Rgt.. MIA somewhere near Kiev in late 1917, I assume. My grandfather from my father´s side belonged to a Hanoveranian Infantry Rgt. in the Prussian Army and fought in Roumania. He caught a bullet in the butt and was ...

MP game - looking for french players

Just started first MP game, AI on CP side. We set CP to defensive strategies ( started CP as human, than set to AI). Level Lieutnant + extra time and bonus for AI. Means France (me) and Eastern Entente ( my friend) faces the CP + Belgium without UK & US support. Tough game so far, really challenging...

This is the german website, what you need is "Direct X enduser runtime web installer". Adds older versions of Direct X. I´ve installed it already, now PON runs fine !!

Have fun.

Important !!! - vote for WW 1 to be supported for online gaming on Gameranger

Hi folks, Gameranger is a very reliable platform that supports MP online gaming. The basic version is for free ! They support 100+ games already. I´ve started a thread on the Gameranger forum that needs your support. In case they add WW1 to the list of supported games, you could easily enjoy MP gami...

Thanks, Paulk for drawing my attention to this thread. I´ve used to play massive online battles over the years. Mainly we played SES Jutland with participants from USA, Canada, Europe and Australia. Experienced only a few problems with sychronisation. So there is no reason to be disencouraged at all...

Any plans for a new WW1-II version using the BoA II / AJE engine ?

Hi folks, most recently I purchased WW1-( not gold) for low budget on Ebay. Have to say it´s definetely one of the best games I´ve ever seen. What I really miss, is a feature for PBEM gaming. My first approach to this gaming system was Pax Romana, which I loved to play in spite of all the bugs resul...

Read the AAR on subject of Severus campaign agianst Parthian Empire. Amazing how well you guys simulated this conflict. Particulary the impact of terrain and weather is well designed. Although I was really astonished about snow around Babylon in December in one of my games against the AI. AI is far ...

Thanks, your help is much appreciated ! Seems like it´s a problem of "scenario integration". The problem appears only when I start a scenario for the first time after a new update. AJE 1.03 bugs

Gentlemen, I´ve experienced a bug after adding Cantabrian Wars and Parthian Wars to my existing AJE 1.03 a installation. 2 times while I was running Cantabrian Wars or the Severus scenario of Parthian Wars the game aborted by a crash to desktop. In both cases I´ve observed strange graphic effects li...
