No Retreat !

I was wondering, is there a way for an army to automatically follow a retreating army in another province? I would like to avoid the 'cat and mouse game', ie losing time chasing a defeated army, and aggressively attacking it until total destruction, what's the best way to achieve that? Is it a trait...

Faster turn processing, it's a game breaker for me since day one.
Better UI (bigger, more readable)
More scenarios (different starting years or limited to 1 theatre)
... and I almost forget: Generals biography

How can I move units from 'off map' to Europe?

Hi,
I am trying to transfer Canadians troops to France, how can I do that? I can't find the drop box to that will allow to move the units from the off map to the main one. Am I missing something?
Thanks.

Generals biography are missing

Hi,
I noticed that none of the generals have their biography (got something like "Idr_txt_FRA_Joffre" when the mouse is over their portrait)

Hi,
I am not sure to understand, to have the bonus do we need to merge the special units with the division generals (1*), are we can keep them at the corps level and every divisions will benefit the bonus?

Managing big army stacks

Hi, End of 61 in the main campaign, playing the Union. (first time on CW2) I try to understand the importance of generals in the game prior to mid-62 (which as I understood will be the trigger to have a proper OOB). Right now my army in Maryland/Virginia is facing a huge confederate stack (pw 1750)....

Drawing a plan on the game map?

Hi, this is a feature that I find very useful specially when you want to compare historical plans with yours or just to have a reminder of what your were planning the last time you played: the possibility to draw and save battle plans, where we can draw future, or past, armies movements across the m...

Nope, doesn't work.
Also about shortcut in the manual it says that Ctrl should shows the number of men but for me it doesn't do anything, I have to move the pointer on the power level of a group to have this information.

Yep, I love the game (I am a total newbie but It's not too hard to get into it). Just few complain about some aspects of the UI, maybe I will get use to it maybe not... such as recruiting troops where I have to find the 'proper' region to drop them, or the very confusing state when many armies/group...
