I am having exactly the same problem with an Ageod's Military Strategies game disk purchased on Amazon. what should I do?

I don't think this is the case... I checked the log for messages of this sort.

I don't have a saved game. It happend to multiple units on mulipel turns... In some cases I'm not even sure when it happen. Simply that the next time I looked at the garrison the troops were gone.

If it happens again I will see if I can save the game and send it to you.

I was playing the F&I campaign and things were mostly going well except.. Units seemed to disappear at random moments without any explanation. I was Playing as the French. The Louisburg Garrison vanished leaving just the leader. Several units of Regulars and my artillery.
