"You have anyway already a good game with the current version which could "learn you the basis" to prepare you for the Gold version". Good advice I followed coming from someone who has spent so much time working with the game for others. Thank you for the advice, and thank you for all your efforts. ...

Thank you ageod crew and also thank you to the core set of beta testers that worked hard to get this ready for general population. Thanks also for the added scenario. Wonderful game, company and community.

Thank you for taking time on reply. When the cursor is on the nato symbol for Baylor (division commander) I get a box to the left with all the units in it but they show no bars or numbers and you can't click on them. This is just as manual describes. And no, clicking on Baylor only gives Baylor's bo...

How to view unit and element info within division? Or don't you?

Playing with Sibley's NM campaign, I set up Baylor and units with him as division to address CP penalty. Once I start moving and fighting I want to view cohesion and etc. of my division and seems like I only get bland no detail view of units when I position cursor over Baylor but no where else can I...

AACW forum has great info for newcomers learning ACW II

Now that I am finally bitten and smitten with an AGEOD title, I am finding alot of great help learning the game from all the documentation on the AACW forum. The sticky Useful Threads for Beginners over there is loaded. (sorry I would put link here but I do not know how yet). Obviously, some of the ...

I am playing it after doing tutorials. Smaller size than full war ones, yet regional, so it is giving me plenty of practice and learning on most of the full war needed mechanics and understanding. Better I think for me than a more contained scenario like Bull Run. Gives a larger bite size piece for ...

Thanks, Pocus, for using with army stack. I found in the manual that the shift with non-Army stack shows "nearby regions and nature of movement links to them." I am not in front of game at moment but I was not sure what the varied colors meant when using the shift key I think for both Army and non-A...

Part of the intent I think of ACW II was to reach a broader audience. This incarnation is a gem and it should attract alot of people that passed on the others or bought 'em and let 'em sit. I count myself as one of them as although I have bought alot of the AGEOD titles and really like the company a...
