Yes, I can confirm that I did receive my copy this past Monday from NWS. Chris was beyond patient with my every other day e mails asking "WHEN?". Don't be alarmed if it takes upwards of two weeks, that is what mine took. Trust me, it is worth the wait!

Thank you so much for the clarifacation, AGEOD is really a class, first rate developer. Are there plans in the future to possibly change your business plan to allow for the production of physical copies of the game sooner or is this working so well in terms of revenue and expenditures that you do no...

Boxed Version Shipments To the States

Finally able to order the boxed version several weeks ago, flustered attempting to order from AGEOD after repeated failures, credit card shaking in hand, I broke down and ordered the game I have waited months for from a legitimate second party vendor. We are going on week three with no promise of de...

I am having difficulty purchasing from this sight, could anyone point me in the proper direction? Does one need to register in a manner different then the forum? Each time I attempt to purchase under my screen name and password, i get an invalid/improper password or screen name message. Please, for ...

How much agony must one man endure? It is either a sad indictment of my life or a testament to how outstanding the demo is (and therefore the game) that upon logging in to check my email I am compelled to stop here, every day, to see whether it has been released yet! I beg of you, put me out of my m...

Lava, your AAR's are really without peer in my opinion. Sniffing around hoping for the announcement of the box edition I stumbled upon this and my take my hat off to you yet again. Brilliant writing, compelling strategy and I must say, there is something about the enjoyment you are getting from this...

Not to sound too much like a spoiled ill behaved child, but are we almost there yet? I am not sure how much longer I can hold on!

YES!!! Fantastic, I really have been in pain for the last month or so waiting for this. It is really unbelievable how good AGEOD is: you give estimates, meet those estimates, continue to put patches out there, support these games to an unheard of level and above and beyond all of that, you create be...

Do you have a tentative timeframe as to how close you are to releasing the boxed edition and if the manual will reflect the changes that have ensued with the subsquent patches since the intial release? Thank you for any information.

I cannot speak for Chris and NWS, but I feel that I should at the very least share my experiences with him. Regarding Forge of Freedom, might the problem have been with Matrix and their allotment of games to other vendors? Chris and NWS have always been beyond fair and way beyond responsive when ans...

Will the box edition include the manual in it's current state? I have been waiting and dying to get this game, but being so new to Birth of America, I have decided to wait for the boxed editon and I am thrilled to read this. What is the time-frame (if you know) for the expansion/patch for BoA (2.0)?...

Fair enough and thank you for the quick response. Do you foresee the combat aspects of this engine changing much for your third game in the series? Also, has there been much "tweaking" done to the combat screens for ACW (ie, a slowing down of the resolution, along the lines of say Hearts of Iron, wh...

tc237, argh, I have been foiled by you yet again!!! You are like a AGEOD Stalker my good man. Tell the truth; you and I both know you visit this site, more then once a day. I can't say I blame you and I may indeed be guilty of multiple visits a day myself. I appreciate the news on the demo and I rea...

Demo?

This is as excited about a release as I have been for some time so along those lines, I have a few questions. Have you decided as to when (concurrent or later) you will release a demo for AGEOD's ACW? Has there been consideration to releasing a demo before it's release? Last, do you have a tentative...

Fantastic! You may very well have the game of the year here. Everything, and I do mean everything I have read and seen about this game has me convinced that it will be even more brilliant then BoA, and that is quite a feat.

A Question Regarding the Manual

Could you tell us how in depth the manual will be for A-ACW, ie, will it be more extensive then the manual that shipped with BoA or will it be more along the lines of the revised manual that is available for download here? With the myriad of new options and just the shear scope of this game compared...

Brilliant!

After hemming and waiting and thinking twice, I also broke down and purchased BoA, spurred on by the soon to be released American Civil War game AGEOD is doing. I must say, what you have created here is really not only unique and deep and easy to understand, but what you have done is create somethin...
