After a week of playing, everything is good between my 6600 GT and the game. Got one, single crash so far. And this was before the patch, but I played a lot before applying the patch. Post patch, no problems so far.

Yes, as mentioned by a few people already, a pause, step, or much slower speed during the combat resolution would make this "almost perfect" game that much closer to perfection. We wargamers like to immerse ourselves in the details of the battles.

Jarhead, I read about your frustration here and over at The Wargamer. Since this is a newly started company, I'm willing to bet it's probably a one or two man operation who have been working overtime with little or no sleep to get the product finished and out the door on their targeted finish date--...
