adam, I will answer at another level. the title of the game contains campaigns, and as such the game at this first stage concentrates on campaign (the spanish is also assigned the nam campaign even it is 6 year long!). anyway, I doubt that the Pc version of Empire in arms goes to this LEVEL of DETAI...

No the engine would allow that perfectly...it's already in the game but you shall see that only in the Spanish Campaign, the sole scenario long enough to visualize this (for Spanish units) :indien: phillipe, the main issue with the french units uniforms is that there were multitude of differents un...

Just to go back to the discussion, the major problem with the 1812 is Murat missing the OOB. Debates about the french and russian OOB exist for nearly two centuries now, and will probably not be fixed here. Mainly because getting and exact OOB starting in june 1812 is probably just impossible to li...

The Napoleon's Campaigns is very much historically correct, but in the scenario 1914, the Neapolitain Army is Allied to France, historicaly instead Murat is allied to Coalition. Since 11 january 1814 Murat is Allied to Austria, and since 3 february Murat signs am armistice with England. Murat attac...

:p leure: [img][IMG]http://i8.tinypic.com/7w...

In the Russian Scenario (1812), the portraits of the following units in the Unit Detail window are incorrect (blue/white uniform): - 2e ligne Portugais (Brigade Compere) - 1er ligne Portugais (2/Brigade Gengoult) The correct portrait (brown/red uniform) in the Unit Detail window should be the same ...

I used various sources including Nafziger's "Napoleon's Invasion of Russia", Saint-Hilaire's "Napoléon en Russie", Chandler's "The Campaigns of Napoleon", various weblinks etc. As to dates, the main OOB in Nafziger's is dated August 1 1812, Saint-Hilaire's is dated June 15 1812. I am pretty confide...

Napoleon, IIRC, innovated the concept of sending out vast formations of mounted troops cross country at the outset of a campaign to blind enemy intel and disguise the centre of gravity of his main thrust. I was wondering if this kind of counter-intelligence technique is present and usable in the ga...

Hello, I answer, I am part of the scenario development team. Even if I am not the designer of the 1812 one, i know that many sources were looked and cross checked at and that certain choices were to be made at a time. Rather than discussing about the data and their correctness right now, I would lik...
