Seems to me you are frustrated with some of the historical limits placed on certain troops / leaders at the start of the campaign. As I understand it the locks etc and the reason some leaders are already assigned troops is what actually happened - they were garrisoned in that place and did not have ...

The AI simply don't like to suicide herself, even if Gettysburg is an objective. If you play as the CSA, 'she' will be more aggressive. True, when in inferiority, you will have problem having her reenact the same situation. Also Gettysburg, as it is set, is a very very simple scenario with not much...

Messages too long!!

Hi As others have said - this is looking to be a great game. Just two queries (well one query and one bug I guess  Firsdtly, the query- I want to know how people approach the scenarios - for instance Gettysburg. To me, playing as Union it seems that there is not much strategy (please don't thin...

Great idea- thanks a lot for doing this- should give us a bit of insight into the finer details. Can't wait for this game at the moment!

We plan to have it at around 40.00 €, tax included. In other words, for you Americans it should end up around 44.95 US$ You Americans!!!!!!! I am English through and through! Sounds good though - I make it about £26. That's about what I was hoping it would cost - next question is when can we pre or...

I take your point Pocus - I know that it is a lot of work to get regiments working - and as I said originally, my comments were not meant as criticism. Shame though that having put all the regiments the game then doesn't really allow for them to recieve more realistic damage ratios. Not sure how com...

I guess what concerns me is that if regiments can be destroyed so easily the game could lose a lot of the connection often built with units in strategy games. If you look at the ACW, one of the key things people remember are specific units- eg 20th Maine etc that were involved in specific actions an...

Thanks for the response. Sorry for more questions, but I am still unsure as to whether individual soldiers are modelled (for example - can you say after an engagement that 221 Union and 126 Confederates were killed or wounded, or is it simply the brigade lost 5 hearts? Sorry if I'm being dense- can'...

Battle results

Hi Sorry if this is obvious -I have checked various threads and can't see anything about it. Simple question really - how are conflict results handled? From the pictures it seems like effectively regiments and other units "die". Is this correct? I suppose I'm hoping that it's not the case, as I like...
