To my knowledge, there has not been any AJE patch or update for almost a year or so, so there is no reason you get an update from Steam on that, unless of course you have not visited Steam for that long... May be it is only some Steam 'sale' material that is updated (Steam has created some kind of ...

I have compiled a list of all events and options in the Second Punic War. My own preference is for a Caesar in Gaul dlc, but I'll take whatever I can get. I agree that AJE is the best of AGEOD.

One suggestion for future Beta testing is to make use of Bohemond's mod that allows you to see what options and events are supposed to fire in any given scenario. At least folks would then know what to watch out for.

Well, the best way to make good sales it is to release a product without major problems too. I don't understand why the games was rush for the release, couldn't wait one month more or two? Having a beta test during at least one month and look the big problems of gameplay on the release that everyon...

The purpose of this forum isn't to pump the game or flatter AGEOD. It's a place for open discussion. I think most of the criticisms of the game have been entirely appropriate and useful. I don't think criticism of the AI has been preponderant. Rather, errors in scripting seem to have been the focus,...

Pretty much no overheating issues at all, but I bought the i3 version precisely because I had read of overheating when gaming with the i5 and i7 versions (the i3 doesn't do turbo mode). I'd rather have a weaker but more stable tablet, and don't really need the power for Office and web stuff. I need...

DirectX Error and CTD -- never fixed?

There are many threads about the "DirectX to Renderer Invalid Call" and ensuing CTD. Has it ever been fixed? I ask because it just showed up for me again. I re-read a number of threads about this problem, including the one Franciscus started back in 2011 , but I don't see any definite conclusions. A...

I don't think the problem is limited to Hannibal. From what I've observed in playing these games, the AI has for a very long time had problems managing supply, but Hannibal has simply made the issue more visible. The problem has tended to go under the radar and be underreported because many players ...
