That was a huge positive in the AGEoD vs. Paradox systems for me. To take a game that the previous AGEoD fans knew and liked so much in the older system and to then change it so radically is a real bummer.
Two issues I'm having with the Spanish American War DLC: -I'm not seeing any images in the events windows ("Rough Riders" for example) -I can't move my Pacific fleet to the Philippines, and keep getting an error about frozen water/too shallow for the ships (it's the Pacific Ocean). I moved the armie...
I think I have finally pinned down why my textile factories keep closing down as USA- lack of dyes. I can't seem to buy enough on any given turn. Can I start a dye resource in another nation? I don't see that France, for instance will allow me to place a resource collection point in their territory ...
I'm trying to build a goods factory in Washington DC, as suggested by the B screen. I've been saving up my resources and funds to do so. I seem to have more than enough money and necessary resources, from what I see in the F4 screen. I'm attaching a screenshot with the F4 screen active, as well as t...
Yes, thanks for the amazing game. It's obvious that years of effort went into it. I'm really thankful that there is a company that does the time periods that AGeoD does with such a great engine- and turn based.
Thanks for the help. It's a great game, but certainly has a lot of depth to it to comprehend. Is the best way to buy what's needed to go through the B screen, and click until the amount is out of the red? Can these items be canceled once I no longer need them? In the meantime, I am also trying to st...
I had most of my fleets go out of supply in a single turn in my game as the US. I hadn't moved any of them from their starting positions, nor moved them. What do I need to watch to ensure my far-flung ships get supplied?
How does one force an Indian nation to surrender and cede territory as the US? I have 3 cavalry divisions chasing the Indian nations that I started the game at war with (I assume we are at war from the tool-tip that pops up when I hover the mouse over an "enemy" unit"). I also see that I can "declar...
I'm getting a lot of factories being auto-deactivated in my first year of my USA game. I'm going through the manual to try to understand why. I've kept my spending to a minimum, only building a tobacco field and three smaller military units to fight Indians in the west. The manual states that (highl...
How are subsidiary corps or floating units assigned to other HQ's? I have situations (particularly for Austria-Hungary) where I would like to reassign units to a closer HQ after having to move them further from their parent HQ by rail move etc. Is there a way to do this (I can't imagine there isn't)...
I am still finding this critical feature tough to figure out. There are many variables that make it difficult to fully grasp, such as- can you select the "convert RR" tab prior to making an attack into a hex? I would like to see this process simplified. Converting the RR in an area you are stationar...
I have the "Stosstruppen" advance available as AH, but Germany is unable to use it or even research it now that the advancement is discovered. How does one share advances amongst allies? The tooltip suggests this is possible, I just can't find the way to do it.
I'm also getting multiple crashes. The last one was at the event pop up box after the diplomatic phase in the 1914 2 player scenario. The boxes would not close, but the cursor was active. In general, the game randomly freezes at multiple points. I have no anti-virus software running, nor any of the ...
Keep in mind these are cameras with slow film, on tripods at a bustling event. There was no "decisive moment" photography until roll film came into being in the early 1900's. Notice the faint outline of people walking in the foreground of the first picture-capturing action or movement was impossible...
It would be good to have a filter in the post turn text that lets the player know when units have been completely destroyed. I would also like the ability in the sequel game to rebuild units that I have grown fond of from replacements. Maybe with a screen displaying all completely eliminated forces ...
