for BoA and A-ACW getting them via direct download from ageod worked great for me, the exchange rate was fair

although it makes a change for a game to cost US residents more than Europeans... it is not clear yet if matrix games in the US will market the game, like they did for the others.

although being in the USA, i purchased BoA and AACW direct from AGEOD, they are now offered via Matrix Games...

will Napoleons Campaigns also be published by Matrix Games or will the Nobilis change the marketing of the new game in the US ?

would the physical scale of china or south america work ? or will there be too many regions to give any type of strategic choices. the English Wars would be my favourite choice followed by the 30 Years War and Frederick the Great. these two would probably be the most commercially viable choices.

a Napoleonic or ACW game would need a change of scale to Brigade or Division level ( at least) and have larger regions, imagine the ACW map from the Mississippi to the East coast at the scale of BoA... it would be HUGE :8o: a Jacobite game would be interesting, we can repeat Culloden again and again...

although i would love a BoA style game on some of the more obscure conflicts of the last 300 years, there has to be a commercial side to the decision on the subject BoA sequel. i would guess ACW ! its a very popular conflict, especially in the USA which must be the largest single market for computer...

Actually neither of those terms are more correct than the other, they both pertain to the entire country, it’s only when people start saying Great Britain meaning either the UK or Britain that they are wrong. Great Britain is a specific island, the main island, and not the entire archipelago that m...

Exactly. Our emphasize is on strategy, not on tactic. We prefer to develop a very competent strategic AI, and not 2 poor ones. We don't want to see a game where the player can win by exploiting the tactical engine and winning against impossible odd, just because the AI is too dumb and is manipulate...

i like the detail of Victoria, but hated the micromanagement, a small country is not too bad but trying to run the British Empire was too much.. too much info to manage... when you have an excess of commodities, you do not get penalised for the over productiion, i like one of the ideas from Crown of...

good luck with the new project one small bit of advice, imho, Victoria is just too damn complicated, lots of period flavour but there is too much micro-management. i wanted to like victoria.. but could never get into it. of all the Paradox games it is the one i liked the least. as victoria is gettin...
