Hi. After some configuration tweaking, i can confirm that disabling border drawing is a MAJOR change in game smouthness. The scroll speed when zoomout go from slow to ultrafast without it. (No change to others options). Oh my, the change is amazing. All smooth now, even in full screen. Thanks a lot...

Bought it recently and oh my, what a great game. The learning curve can be steep indeed but how rare to see a good WW1 game. Congrats guys. What the hell happened with some sounds though ? I just had to install a mod cause this damn train sound for example was driving me crazy. Why so long ? Why so ...

Maybe you should try the 4 emperors scenario, i personally found it to be way more easier to handle as a new player.

Vitellius maybe ? With spain and cisalpine gaul as main objective ? Nice, fun and not too hard.

For some reason to play windowed really helped for me.

Quite smooth now but when running the game full screen the damn thing is slow as hell when zoomed out.

Less Romans, more Greeks, thank you. I can surely understand such a wish but in the same time we have to keep in mind what this game is about. Rome clearly, civil wars more exactly even if we all hope for some Punic and Gaul sweetness but yeah, Rome. But who knows how the game is going to evolve af...

Wouldn't mind to see a conquest of Gaul scenario too.

Was that more interesting for them to fill up the ranks or to simply try to recruit some local auxiliaries though ? I mean, if your legion is operating in some lost area of Gaul it can be quite troublesome for reinforcements to reach you.

If I play with the Romans against Spartacus? Wouldn't it be easier? Tried that this afternoon and well, it went mighty smoothly. Key in my opinion is to wait until some much needed reinforcements appear, until that point you can build up some troops to defend the main towns but of course don't enga...
