It's pretty helpful as the CSA but it doesn't mean the difference between victory and defeat. One still has to field a respectable army in order to survive the war. By respectable of course, I mean an army not composed mostly of militia.

Arguing about the implausibility of something put in the game to add flavor and fun is silly and makes one come across as a bit of a curmudgeon. It's not like Britain intervenes in every campaign so no need to get your panties in a bunch, Mr. Strict-historical-accuracy-buff.

I couldn't believe they succeeded in making SH4 worse than SH3. At least I was able to enjoy SH3 despite its flaws...

UBI doesn't deserve our business and will no longer be receiving mine.

I would *like* to see an interface on the ledger for manipulating nations' various armies and corps. I know this is a bit ambitious, but it is a wishlist afterall :sourcil: I envision it something like this: ( fade in dream sequence ) A list of all the nation's forces is shown upon clicking a ledger...

The geography of Texas is a bit inaccurate so with the help of an 1860 map of Texas I set out to help correct it. The following is a list of towns on the game map followed by (-->) more appropriate location names for the era. West Texas --> Gainesville *site of the Great Hanging of October 1,...

I just finished a 1.3 CSA game (April 1861) on Normal and won pretty handily. The Union started strong as I was basically getting my feet wet. Union forces took the Shenendoah Valley and Alexandria. I focused on building my forces in the East while I went on the offensive in the west. Strategically ...

The "Stalemate" happened to me on my first CSA campaign. It was Early May 1863 & the USA's NM just dropped to 40, while mine was 154. I should note that I had none of the objective cities, except the CSA cores. I just ignored it and played one more turn. I then assaulted and captured Washington, DC ...
