I understand it is beyond your control... which is why I think the supply levels should be closer to AJE where typically the AI armies do not starve to death. I like the game a lot, but I've been shocked with how often AI armies waste away from lack of supplies especially on the Rhine and in Bohemia...

Too many supply problems

The supply issues in this game are a problem. I understand the Thirty Years War was brutal and that there was thus a lot of looting, attrition, and supply issues. But the lack of supply in this game is a problem. Even if it is "realistic" it prevents the game from being as fun for the player. That m...

Or, make AJE 2 with Gallic Wars, Liberator's Civil War, something fall of Rome (Attila Total War is selling well) and Cleopatra/Anthony. Complicated? Somewhat, but I think it would sell well and be fun to play. That said, I'm enjoying WoN quite a bit, I usually prefer Grand Campaigns, and hated that...

AJE (plus ALL the expansions/other scenarios/stand alones of ancient Rome) to me is probably the "best" AGEOD game out there. The AI handles it pretty well, even with diplomacy it usually works. I agree that a more focused game might be better; I wish that Thirty Years War had been a full AGEOD prod...

There have been issues, but I've only had like two crashes. Usually you just return to the last turn (which means all your orders are saved) then re-run it and it works. WoN was not perfect upon release, but AGEOD's done a good job fixing problems as they come out, and have been working with players...

The biggest thing I want is just to keep improving the game; fix bugs, maximize AI, and add events. Beyond that a few new scenario's would be fun. 1814, 1812, and the Iberian War would be appreciated.

If Napoleon conquers England, there should be some significant bonuses to doing so. I think Ireland should be made independent, and the colonies + Royal Navy must be reduced, dramatically. I think one idea, to keep the game interesting, is to set it up like Austria and Prussia, so that you expect at...

I conquered Barbados so likely that's coming with me. While England would not want to lose any homeland, they may not have a choice. The Home Army is not well led. London fell and with it surrendered much of the main British Army (I used the Surrender decision and it worked.) While Annexing seems un...

What should the French Player try and accomplish during Operation Sealion. Taking London is easy and destroy's British Morale. Regarding AI in AGEOD games, I've noticed the main issue Athena has is with building troops and organizing corps/armies. I've found the best AI games in AJE, BoA2, and Rise of Prussia, while the worst AI experince has been Revolution Under Siege (I love the game, haven't played Gold yet, but Soviet'...

I have a serious issue with BRS, it installed wrong and I am not sure how to get it to install properly. I've tried patching it and I've tried re-installing it and neither one works.

Most AGEOD games won't load after using Norton Anti-Virus

I have most of the AGEOD games and they all work on my computer. A couple days ago I was having some serious computer issues involving a maleware popup and thus was forced to use Norton Power-Eraser. The program flagged a couple of the AGEOD programs (as well as a Matrix Game) but I told the program...

I really hope the more than 3 player scenario gets in this time. I know it's been teased for awhile now but hasn't shown up. I'm not quite sure what the more than three scenario is. I've guessed Fall of the Empire (Goths, Byzantine, Rome, Vandal, Hun?) or Crisis of the Third Century (Aurelian, Galli...

I don't see it being a problem that it is "easy" to make Grant an Army commander. After all Grant was in full control of what could be defined an army by 1862. I prefer not buying the HQ unit. The system works fine in Revolution Under Siege and Rise of Prussia.

How to read events?

How do you read the events that come up at the beginning of a turn? In every other AGEOD game you just click on the red text and it pops up but it is not working for me.

I am not sure I agree. Generally in the game, at least against the AI, larger stacks are better. For instance in most BOR scenario's if the Roman's don't combine the consular armies they have a very tough time beating their opponents. Unless those opponents divide their armies up. If you're playing ...

I've played a lot of AJE and Birth of Rome and not had these issues but the combination of slow movement and low supply cities are really problematic. How do you keep your army from starving?

How do you keep from losing all of your soldiers to lack of supply? I've played basically all AGEOD games and I'm able to handle supplies in them but grand campaign (American Revolution) in this game always ends with me having massive supply issues. Any suggestions?

Do we really want American Civil War 2 to be micromanagement hell? Because both the Garrison idea and the Command point ideas sound like they'd increase the minutia by 100 percent. With garrisons we could have garrison units like in AJE and that would be fine but to have to detach even more troops f...

Did you know that you are able to fight the Parthian's and try and take their capital during the Year of the Four Emperor's if you play as Vespasian? All you have to do is keep troops out of Syria. With the new expansion focusing on the East I had to try and get a preview. One issue that has been br...
