Does the Bremen region ever get unlocked (in the grand campaign) and if yes, how? According to the Annex document the city of Bremen is needed for the Hanseatic income, and I could really use the extra resources.
I thought of two more things: I've read here somewhere (patch notes?) that the incredibly annoying NM balancing events are supposed to only affect games vs. the AI, but they definitely also are active in PBEM. The other thing; aren't Japanese units supposed to automatically transport back to Japan/t...
Another small issue is with (regular) Hungarian infantry: IIRC with the first infantry tech gained the recruitable Hungarian regular infantry divisions lose their other infantry element, leaving them with only one inf element and one arty. I've always avoided them after this "upgrade", bec...
During my latest games Rasputin has always disappeared. Not sure if this info is useful, but during the first game we ran alternating hosting, so not sure whether I or the opponent resolved the turn when Rasputin disappeared. Then I changed computers (so also a fresh install) and had the other two g...
The Med blockade is a pretty small issue and that campaign has ended anyway.
I've encountered the Rasputin issue now in three different PBEM's. The first was with the last official patch and the two latest happened while running the latest beta patch.
Great to have you back Altaris! I'm pretty sure that I made backups of the blockade bug, I'll check within the next few days. For sure I have files stored of Rasputin becoming available, being activated and disappearing. Another thing that I encountered was with the Armenian Genocide; it's supposed ...
Of course I too would love to see a patch, but how reasonable is it to make demands of AGEOD to provide fixes? The game was released years ago and indeed AGEOD is a very small company. I certainly feel that I've already received my money's worth and more. The SP is pretty bad because of the AI, but ...
I'd already experienced this previously, but now I have files with proof: the Mediterranean blockade affects the OE's alignment even if they are neutral. In my current game in Late May 1915 the OE's alignment was already at 100% CP and when Early June 1915 started, they were still sitting at 100% in...
For CiC traits issue ; Traits provided by CIC are ruled by the following settings, in EAW/Settings ; ..................... To summarize, yours HQ Stacks must be within the GHQ of the CIC Range (shift Key) and there is a -2 applied to traits provided including CP. Others settings can mitigated the e...
There are many weird decisions regarding locations. For example multiple cities/provinces should reward NM when captured, and at the same time at least the Austrian Alpine provinces are far too valuable. And why doesn't Romania seem to produce any oil? Why is Galicia as a region pretty worthless, ev...
Sadly I don't have save files before the Rasputin issue. The CiC issue should be easily replicated simply by loading a campaign and confirming that the bonuses are nowhere to be seen. Just encountered one issue again: even if Italy is neutral they get -1 CP alignment when the Mediterranean blockade ...
The game's tooltip claims that the most senior commander in a theater grants bonuses according to his trait to the troops, but my experience is that those traits have no effect. For example if the senior commander's trait is supposed to give +2 CP the CP amount for a *** general is still 48.
One thing to consider is the ability of the AI. If you have any experience with AGEOD you should be able to do pretty well in SP, as the AI will be doing its best to ruin its own war effort. Of course that also applies to any allied AI factions.
Well this is weird and annoying, in my current game with the beta patch I had forgotten to erase the contents of the file and was thus "rewarded" with the -5 NM hit (curiously I as the CP was penalized immediately after getting to 110, but the WE had been sitting at that from the 1st turn ...
Sounds like one more bug then Luckily you should have the backup files and thus be able to revert to the earlier turn. Hopefully the bug won't reappear!
I am indeed! And yes, I'd prefer to control the CP completely. I'll PM you a suggestion regarding house rules and game settings on Saturday when I'll be able to run TEAW and check all the options. Feel free to PM me yours beforehand if you'd like.
These old instructions posted by Altaris have worked for me:
"For Steam users, you can find your serial key in the General.opt file located in the EAW\Settings\ directory under you game installation directory. You'll see the serial key in this file (just search for "serial"). "
I'd prefer the full campaign but I'm ok with the historical start as well. Ideally you would be pretty experienced and I'd like a pace of at least 2-3 turns per week. Newest beta patch.
House rules and options to be discussed. Please sign up here or drop me a PM!
Would it be possible for AGEOD to publish development diaries to create interest in the game and to provide information about the contents and mechanics? Paradox does that on a regular basis. I do understand that AGEOD is a much smaller company, but even periodical publications would be great.
