The AJE game will handle a very wide variety of scenarios and a huge time period. Well, I think this hint is clear for me. The AGEOD developers will not longer make single AGE stand alone games. It is more efficient to revise the AGE engine, to make it suitable as being a core game, developed to wo...

An interesting source of information regarding the 30YW is the yahoo group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tyw/

it is especially valuable as a starting point for research gathering all the links in one place as a launching pad

I think AGEOD wont in the forseeable future delve into 30YW. The risks for them are too high, although I think being owned by a swedish company would make things easier, because of Gustav A. etc. Alas, it will be up to a dedicated modding community to developed a project similar to RUS. I scoped aro...

I think the fact that the 30YW involves all the european countries could be a great selling point and would attract customers. added is the benefit of being the first and only game on the subject /maybe a DLC of english civil war? to attract the americans?/. i think ageod underestimates the potentia...

ok, one more question. in the same area, sometimes there is an icon showing a guy behind entrechments. i gather that means the unit is entrenched. sometimes though, there is a red flag there in the same image. what difference signals this flag? thank you in advance

The Russian Civil War?! By Jingo, aside from the Thirty Years' War, this is probably the best period that has never seen a computer wargame. Check the previous screenshots, unless I am looking at the map at full zoom, you will not be able to see the names of the regions. ;) Actually, if I try to head towards Wien, I will have to go through that area... after taking Prag, obviously... ;) hopefully that will happen soon! :) i looked throu...

I go by another nickname on Paradox too. And I have to say, Ricky is a gem. People constantly complain about the POP splitting. But frankly, the AI doesnt split POPs either so I dont either and I love how I can micromanage my society. Once turned the CSA into a Communist dictatorship :D

I must tell you that I fully understand people complaining for not enough documentation - in hindsight, this is clearly the case. And also I understand complaints about the steep learning curve. It is. But you do get used to the map quickly, and I just can't wrap my head around the fact this is app...

The issue is what we have to do in priority... fixing the code glitches and improving documentation and gameplay is first and foremost and will takes all our time in the next months. Reworking the map is a huge task, cumbersome, long, increasing heavily the weight of the game (those who have knowle...

i would also welcome an option where the map could be (at the cost of some additional memory required or slower game speed) facing upwards with north etc. i dont understand how the developers could ignore such a thing. :(

Accounting issues with AGEOD

i currently live in cyprus, but the price for ww1 is consistently quoted in USD. What gives? And is there any way to change it? Can anyone tell me how much money will be deducted from my euro account when I buy this game? Thanks
