I thought KY defaulted to the Union by Oct 61 or so, if no one grabbed it. In my PbeM with havi, the option was on the screen until Early Dec, so I clicked it finally - forbidden Regions until then, although northern KY was passable. OK, so I don't understand. One of these days I'll learn how to pl...

Sir, that was a joke.
Please consider "unsticking" the thread.

We need a Union player to put together a "seminar" similar to what Straight Arrow did with the CSA before is gets a sticky.

Straight Arrow, you might start a new thread with all the correct info in your OP and we can continue this as a discussion thread for future advice to be added to the clean thread. The one clean post thread would be the candidate for a sticky. Great idea Fox. We can keep that thread clean with stra...

I don't know if is possible to rename the thread; I was able to rename the post heading, but not the thread. As I recall the admin can rename it...when they "sticky" it! ;) You did such a fine job with the "Points to Know - CSA" it will be very difficult and take some time to create a comparable li...

Rather than rename it we should just provide points for the Union. Straight Arrow may be short on time and I don't think he has played the Union much. I'd guess he would be more than willing to copy and paste any points provided into the OP. That may work. I was however considering the new player t...

I figured it was a fair question considering the thread was titled Things to Know (and not CSA: Things to Know) :bonk: It certainly was a fair question. It would be interesting for a "Union Points to Know" thread to be posted in the future. Straight Arrow did a great job with the CSA. I ...

There's a lot more experienced players than myself to answer your question. I can only respond by saying that I normally place my strength in the Corps and have only a moderate force in the Army HQ for support.

I wouldn't go as far as to say your way is a mistake, just a different strategy.

I personally don't mind a bit of randomness here. I think it is better than knowing exactly how many replacements chits I need to buy each turn. The end result makes it really difficult to keep your entire army's health at its peak without massively overbuying replacements. I agree 100%. I don't wa...

Hollywood, when you issue your signature for War Bonds do you immediately see your VP decline? It should.
Or when you increase Rail Pool does the Money and War Supplies immediately decrease? They should.
Do you see any immediate deduction from any signature?

My recommendation is to follow Mr. Barkdale's suggestion to reinstall. If that does not fix the issue then Mr. Fox's suggestion to post in Tech Support. You need this to function properly to enjoy the game. Good luck!

Hollywood, I have been waiting for more experience gentlemen like Mr. Barksdale and Mr. Fox to weigh in. Apparently settings will not affect your issue. Both their recommendations are valid. Reinstall and then tech support if no luck. Good luck.

Are you still playing the same game? If so I might suggest starting a new game after verifying the options we discussed. However it does not sound like a replacment issue. See if a new game produces the cash flow. Do the signatures work in other areas? Can you increase the railroad and river pool? T...

Actually I mistakenly stated unit when I meant a stack. I stand corrected. I can change the name of an army stack if it is empty.
