Yes, there are some technicalities here, that's not design decision. But did you try in CW2 to leave a subordinate in a stack and promote him, by first clicking on him (and only him selected) then hitting the promote button? It works normally. Thank you Yes, problem of only a few leaders in the sam...

Hi! I have a question for promotion.

Why to promotion leader should be placed in a separate stack and an opportunity to promote available only one turn. What's this arguments?

Thank you

Who wants to play (PBEM)?

Hello! Who wants to play this wonderful game? I am a beginner and I have no experience with the game player. I quite often go online. My time - UTC +2. To begin with I would like to play a little scenario. Play version 1.01. English - medium Write. Topics for finding players I have not found.

I really turned the game for themselves on the Russian language. Yes indeed, after patch 1.01 English text event has been changed.
I did not notice it and put the old text (before the patch).

Sorry

Redoubts

What level of trenches equals to the structure redoubt? I play for the USA. And looking at Alexandria (Fairfax, VA) I have a question. What it is better to put troops into the city (ie redoubt) or wait until they strengthened (have time). In case of the trenches when the enemy attacks and win my tro...

What sense to create a brigade (General + unit), if you can create a division? Of course I'm talking about after October 1861.

Then it is likely there is an error in the text. Because file LocalStrings_CW2.csv in the text event (string name - evt_desc_CSA_PresidentialElection1864), written - "Defeat Moral threshold set to 25. Victory Moral threshold set to 100."

It is not intended decision. Artillery units are from different factions. By default, units from different factions (for example Confederates and Watie Indians, although fighting for the same side, cannot combine into same divisions). If they find time, maybe designers can code an exception for art...

This is a strange decision AGEod. According to the logic, captured artillery should be added to the formation.

Yes, Industrial structures generate money. For example, Arsenal generates + 2 money, Powder Mill +1 money. This can be seen by hovering on the structures in the city (Click + Ctrl on the city).

Thanks for the answers.

Does it make sense for CSA, to build warships that would fight for the window of the blockade?

Does it matter how the blockade runners are located inside the window of the blockade. All one stack or each separately?

Industrialization or blockade runners?

What is more profitable for the CSA? Industrialization or blockade runners? I did not count, but it seems to me that or blockade runners bring more income. Perhaps playing against a player (Now I'm playing against the AI) blockade runners is not as effective, because player can expose more ships. I ...

Editing to the file LocalStrings_RED.csv does not change the name of the city. Only the name of the territory. I want to change the name of this city.

Location (city) Donetsk at the time was called - Yuzivka.
How can I do this?

Rename region

Hello! I want to rename the region. I tried to do it the same way as files "unit" and "model". For example, I opened the file in a text editor Kurganinsk.rgn (in the folder \Revolution under Siege \ RUS \ GameData \ Regions) and in the second line (Name = Kurganinsk) changed its name. But in the gam...
