All - Thanks for the answers and assistance with my questions. I am sure I will continue to blunder around Shiloh as I continue to get a better understanding of how things work in v1.15. I have to say that for some reason, I really like these small campaign/scenarios as the do help in working things...

Requesting some assistance from the veterans...

I purchased AACW after it came out but unfortunately did not have much time to get involved in gameplay due to that other bothersome "real life" issues. :D I am now able to devote some time to the game and am very exciting to be back with AACW! That being said, at the same time I am feeling very ove...

I may be wrong, but I would say that IMHO this may have been one important mistake in the beta team formation... Really hope that in the future, specially relating to the most ambitious AGEOD project (VGN) this is not repeated... I concur. As an AGEOD fan, I have anxiously followed the development ...

Well actually, AGEOD could offer a LOWER price for digital download then what is being currently offered at their own shop. IMO, $50 USD is a bit steep for a digital download considering you can get boxed versions of software in the US for the same or cheaper price. Additionally, one could make the ...

I liked BoA, so I am anxiously waiting for the cd-rom version of ACW to come out. I haven't played FoF or CoG so I couldn't even make an attempt to compare the two game systems. That being said, competition is healthy, and TWO Civil War games on the market are better than none!!! And of course both ...

I like to be given the same set of historical dilemmas and see how I can an improve or even change the outcome.

I really don't care for games that are set in a historical period/theme but have no historical/realistic decision making - tradeoff process to consider (i.e. HOI or EUII).

Just a suggestion to build upon the great ones in this thread. How about incorporating some sort of "orders delay" or "orders penalty" when plotting and re-plotting moves. For example, as it stands now in BoA, it is extremely easy to cancel orders or re-plot paths of your armies. Since you are playi...

Generals, units and stacking

Hi all- I have a question regarding the use of generals, units and stacking. Hypothetically speaking, if I have one 2 star general and four 1 star general, in addition to 4 units, is there a "best" way to organize? Specifically, is better to stack all 5 generals and 4 units in super stack? Or is bes...
