Found the downloads for your great mod.
I was able to install, but am getting a serious error upon start-up.
Is there any assistance you can provide?
Thanks,
All - Thanks for the answers and assistance with my questions. I am sure I will continue to blunder around Shiloh as I continue to get a better understanding of how things work in v1.15. I have to say that for some reason, I really like these small campaign/scenarios as the do help in working things...
I purchased AACW after it came out but unfortunately did not have much time to get involved in gameplay due to that other bothersome "real life" issues. :D I am now able to devote some time to the game and am very exciting to be back with AACW! That being said, at the same time I am feeling very ove...
I may be wrong, but I would say that IMHO this may have been one important mistake in the beta team formation... Really hope that in the future, specially relating to the most ambitious AGEOD project (VGN) this is not repeated... I concur. As an AGEOD fan, I have anxiously followed the development ...
If you dont support Ageods work then dont buy! This is their job, their living and our enjoyment! If a few quid are going to kill you or you imagine they are earning interest off money in the bank just go join a Quango, as they are non elected beaurocrats anyway. I do not have the skill to design, ...
Well actually, AGEOD could offer a LOWER price for digital download then what is being currently offered at their own shop. IMO, $50 USD is a bit steep for a digital download considering you can get boxed versions of software in the US for the same or cheaper price. Additionally, one could make the ...
Hi - I recently purchased a new laptop and am attempting to load AACW onto it. The laptop is an IdeaPad Y510 with 32bit Vista, Intel Core 2 Due Processor, 4 G RAM and Nvidea GeForce 8600M GS 256 mb graphics card. I can install AACW fine, but when I attempt to start the game, I get an error message: ...
Hi - I recently purchased a new laptop and am attempting to load BoA onto it. The laptop is an IdeaPad Y510 with 32bit Vista, Intel Core 2 Due Processor, 4 G RAM and Nvidea GeForce 8600M GS 256 mb graphics card. I can install BoA fine, but when I log in my the key code and and attempt to configure t...
I liked BoA, so I am anxiously waiting for the cd-rom version of ACW to come out. I haven't played FoF or CoG so I couldn't even make an attempt to compare the two game systems. That being said, competition is healthy, and TWO Civil War games on the market are better than none!!! And of course both ...
More seriously, I am currently examining all these options. I plan to have a decision made no later than end of next week...to which production and shipping lead time shall be added... so no hope to get anything rolling before end of May at best... Phil - You should talk with Chris Dean over at NWS...
I like to be given the same set of historical dilemmas and see how I can an improve or even change the outcome.
I really don't care for games that are set in a historical period/theme but have no historical/realistic decision making - tradeoff process to consider (i.e. HOI or EUII).
PhilThib wrote:If ACW does the same as BOA, it will be nice for us. I hope it will do better, due to the seeming popularity of the subject with the American public
Please don't forget us Americans who want a Napoleonic version of ACW also!!!
The BOA add-on will include a lot of stuff...I'll do a thread on that in about 2-3 weeks, when the pressure on ACW is a bit lower than now... :bonk: :p leure: Be patient, I promise you won't be disappointed...on a lot of matters :sourcil: Phil - Any updates yet on the add-on? Keep up the great work...
Just a suggestion to build upon the great ones in this thread. How about incorporating some sort of "orders delay" or "orders penalty" when plotting and re-plotting moves. For example, as it stands now in BoA, it is extremely easy to cancel orders or re-plot paths of your armies. Since you are playi...
Hi all- I have a question regarding the use of generals, units and stacking. Hypothetically speaking, if I have one 2 star general and four 1 star general, in addition to 4 units, is there a "best" way to organize? Specifically, is better to stack all 5 generals and 4 units in super stack? Or is bes...
Missed this one, sorry. The add-on is due 2 months after the AACW release. Give or take 3 days for some rest :) Pocus - I know that AACW is coming out soon (and I can't wait), but I did not know about a BoA add-on. Not sure if any of this has been disclosed, but a few questions for you... What peri...
Your opinion is supported by history. The original 'southern version' is known world wide, while the 'northern version' has been completely forgotten. Being a Yankee, I'll consider it an "even trade": The southern version of Dixie is known world wide and the North won the war! :siffle: *whistling D...
1. Favorite side, overall: No preference. 2. Favorite side, when discovering the game: No preference. 3. Do you read the rule (d) before playing 4. Do you play the tutorial (a) yes 5.
